Histon Post Office cambridge

An absolute joy to use especially when I think of the Cambridge Post office on St Andrews Street. Very friendly and helpful staff with a lot of patience. They also have packaging materials on sale so one less thing to worry about. I seldom post but when I have to this is where I go to. Please stay open!

Before posting any parcels, I would recommend to measure it beforehand, it seems like the stuff will try to overcharge their customers whenever they get a chance. This is a rip off. I was posting A5 size letter today and was charged as for a small parcel. I send parcels regularly and knew that something was not right. The weight was 200g and could easily go through a letter box as inside was a t-shirt. I additionally did a quick research on the post office website and was convinced that it was not a small parcel but a large letter. When I went back to the post office after 15 minutes! the man who was previously serving me ( refused to say his name ) lied that he run the letter through a template. He did not! he just weighted it and told me the price. He then said that the parcels were already collected and I can make a complain. Obviously lack of care for their customer as this is a small village and people dont have many alternatives.

I go in there fairly often. The staff are so lovely and friendly.

Very good service here. Efficient helpful staff offering full PO services including passports and photo service. Useful stationary supplies and great range of greetings cards. Local convenient parking. I travel from north side of Cambridge to come here as service so good. (better than my local PO!)

While in the past this has been a helpful and welcoming post office on my last visit I experienced phenomenally rude and unpleasant service from the "lady" at the front counter ....apparently me wanting to post a letter was very inconvenient and annoying for this charming woman ...let's just say that she should reconsider her career if facing the public is so repulsive, as for me it was a disgusting display of bad manners and I certainly won't be bothering to use this post office again.

This is a fantastic local village Post Office and more. The staff great and very professional, with a great team spirit.

Twice I've gone to this post office during their open hours and they've been inexplicably closed, not particularly impressed.
