Didn't inform me that I was going to no longer be a patient if I didn't have regular check ups. Didn't give me any reminders over text or email to book a check up... Then when I needed help and tried to book an appointment I was told they wouldn't take me as I was an NHS patient and as I'd not had a regular check up they wouldn't see me. Don't think this is fair and they weren't helpful at all as what I could do about a fairly urgent issue... I feel very let down and treated poorly because not a private member.

Practice seems to struggle with too many patients, receptionists aren't very compassionate or understanding, hard to get an appointment, and a new cancellation policy with a £49 fee even if you ring 24hrs before hand, when you know they'll still be giving that appointment to someone else and getting their money too! And also to be told as there is a new 3 strike policy they're going to remove me from their books if another one is missed or cancelled, even though I've gone there for over 5 years as a loyal NHS client, the first missed appointment I didn't get a reminder (had to book months in advance), and this one I gave plenty of notice to give the appointment to someone else. Not very happy :/

2 month waiting time for a check-up! 6 day waiting time if you are suffering pain. Could not believe it. It makes you feel like you have gone back to the Stone Age in this country!

Excellent dental practice. Having had a poor experience with a different practice I transferred to this surgery as an NHS patient several years ago. My only complaint is that there is a long wait for routine appointments (good sign?) but the one time I needed to be seen more urgently they were very accommodating. My dentist is professional, puts me at ease, runs on (or close to) time and I am thoroughly happy.

I am only giving 2 stars as had two apts that had to take my son to. On both there was a male doctor(I forgot his name). NO doubts about this doctor's qualification BUT SADLY his customer service skills were below the standart. My son was terrified. Doctor did not explain at all what he will do. Instead he had really weird comments. Only after my intervention changed his attitude (also to his work colleague) . It happened twice. I know doctors are studying hard and they are the ones that we trust and getting help from and also we admire them for their job. BUT the way that doctors talk to the patients its extremly important. Many people are scared to go to dentist. PLEASE improve your attitude as you are creating unnecessary Trauma! I thought for a long time if I should share my comments. I think I should as maybe it helps.

Since my son was 5 years old I started attending Histon dental surgery which is over 4 years now and I will always recommend that to my friends. Dentists are professional and they know what they are doing. Booking system is so convenient and waiting time is so short.
