Hippo Espresso newcastle

Came into hippo to get some all day breakfast. Food was A MAZE ING! Coffee was great along with milkshake. Prices are so great for what you get on the plate! Only reasoning for 4 stars not 5 was because the girl behind the counter was extremely rude and short with me. Great place will be back !

Always great coffee, especially from the guy in the window! The eggs Benedict w/ bacon is amazing and the breakfast wrap! Great quality and size of food for the price

Table of 3 for brunch experienced a 45 minute wait for the fruit salad while other two meals came within 15 minutes even though we ordered for the same table. This was a real shame because the grilled meals were good tasting and well presented. When it finally came the fruit salad was nicely presented however some of the fruit was not ripe. Staff were polite however they did not advise there would be a wait or delay in the food.

Great service and coffee.. The food was brilliant, shared the get it in ya bowl and breaky wrap, super tasty, filling and we thought good value which came out quite quickly. Heaps of seating, clean tables and bathrooms..only set back is its a bit loud, need some sound proofing..would love to go back to try all the other things on the menu I couldn't choose between but we don't live close!

Caught up with friends that we havent seen in years. Both the meals were lovely. Wait staff were very good.

Had a great breakfast this morning. Had a pensioners moment with the ordering on the the little tablet but with help everything was good. Will return.

Great location, at the Lake. Staff were very attentive, coffee and a selection of cake & slices yum we will certainly call in when we are at Warner's Bay.

Coffee was great, I haven't eaten there however if the coffee is a measure of tastiness give them ago. Staff were polite and quite lovely.
