Ok, renting with Hertz was difficult and annoying on our trip from Inverness to Edinburgh. The platform was glitchy, it didn’t show closed locations where we planned to drop off, and the pick-up was late from the airport. The opening hours are short.
However!! The staff we interacted with at the Edinburgh airport location directly were so kind and helpful. David in particular tracked down our lost property and made it his mission to get it back to us securely to London. He went above and beyond into his personal time and effort to make this happen when he really didn’t have to. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU David! You, along with the colleague who helped us with Ubers and the central location closure, deserve either a promotion, job offer at a leading competitor, or both!
