Hertz – Cambridge – Clifton Road Industrial Estate cambridge

Note that, unbelievably, there is no parking when dropping off or collecting Hertz cars! Aggressive staff told me I could not park in Hertz car park when a friend picked up a car today and then blocked me in with a Hertz van. They said "it was not for customers". The experience was very unpleasant with both members of staff behaving very unprofessionally. I will never use Hertz Cambridge again.

Perfect customer service, been with them for 12 years and never had a complaint. Always really helpful if you need any help and never a stress to hand in the vehicle.

Terrible place to rent a car That sales person was very rude. I almost feel discriminated because of my skin color. Never rent a car from here.

I’m a Gold Plus member at Hertz. I have rented from several locations and although the service is seldom great it’s often acceptable. But this particular branch in Cambridge is absolutely horrible with the exception of one friendly person there. I was charged £180 for a 2 mm scratch in the alloy, which I don’t even know if it was there by the time I picked up the car. They are usually never that picky at airports but here they seem to cherry pick the most minimum scratch and charge you a fortune. They are often rude if you arrive even 15 min before or after to pick up the car. I would never rent it again from this place. The damage claim process was also terribly lengthy and frustrating and you can never speak to an actual human. This should be zero star review.

I would give them less than one star. They found a supposed scratch (3 mm) on the rim of the tire and will charge me £110 for the 'repair'. The supposed scratch could have been there forever (since it is essentially invisible no one would have seen it before hiring the vehicle). This is a scam. The man ahead of me was returning a van and about to hire a car and cancelled the reservation when exactly the same thing happened to him. Scandalous. Avoid this place if it all possible.

I always find Hertz to be professional and provide good service. The Cambridge branch was no exception. Friendly and efficient and good quality car.

Amazing customer service. The staff where very friendly: they helped me with all driving licence checking process, they opened a bit longer so all checks could be finished and they even gave me an upgrade to enjoy the bank holiday weekend with a more comfortable car. Thank you so much

Avoid using this company. Had a small dent and scratch caused by a lory that smashed me and didn't stop. Hertz charged me £1000 for a fix that can't cost more than £250. Unbelievable.

Closed on the weekends and the drop box was bolted shut! I was told by Hertz Corporate that I would be able to drop off the rental... Nope!

Unbelievable! They gave me the car 2 hours later, so I miss my appointelemt and when I returned the car with 2 hours late they charged me one day more! Dan service is very very bad.
