Hertz – Bristol Airport bristol

I had a problem and urgently needed to get hold of Europcar which is literally meters from this desk in the airport. It would have been to easy to convey the message. The rude person who answered told me they can’t deal with that and hung up. Rude!

Low mileage car, friendly rental desk staff, excellent service. Not so much on drop-off. The customer service representatives in rental returns were not on duty at 07:16 am although they should be between 07:00 - 23:00 so my return experience was poor plus they charged me additional car cleaning fee of £42 afterwards.

Have been using a few times and have never been let down. Definitely will be using again. Great service at the reception. Been served a few times by the same lady- always remembered me.

Good service from the staff. Facilities not impressive, when you have to walk there anyway, why not have the counter for checkin at the location of the cars?

Hired a car from Bristol Airport and no problem at all until we returned the car and found out we had been charged £44 for being 22 min late back. Had the customer agent at the desk not written down the wrong postcode and in fact Bristol Airport itself where we ended up in the actual airport car park where we had to pay to get out and then follow a shuttle bus back to Hertz we wouldn’t have been late. We tried to call through various numbers but no answer or unavailable to take your call although finally managed to speak to someone in the new booking team, explained the situation to them and they said that there was a 30 minute allowance. When we returned the car and the agent checked it for damage etc there was no mention of a £44 for being late, which by the way is more expensive than a full day hire of the car. Hertz have received an email and a copy of the rental agreement with the WRONG postcode written on it but I’ll not be holding out for a favourable response if at all I hear anything.

All good quick drop off, no hassle deffo recommend

Dropped off a car with over half a tank left in it as I couldn't fill up because of the fuel crisis. Got charged for filling up 3/4s of a tank @37.5 litres instead of the 20litres it did need for the princely sum of £174. Profiteering much? Not sure how the car needed 37.5 litres when a full tank is 45. Should have gone to Avis as they've adjusted their prices because of the crisis.
