Best academic herbal library you will ever happen upon! Staff are welcoming, approachable, informative and attentive. In close proximity to Kew Botanical Gardens Elizabeth Gate, The River Thames, Kew Bridge, Kew Cricket Club, Kew Green, St Anne's Church, Steam Museum, Musical Museum and Strand-on-the-green. Nearest stations are Kew Bridge and Kew Gardens.

The herbarium is rich in types for all regions of the world, especially the tropics, and is currently growing with 30,000 new specimen additions annually through international collaborations.
