4/5 because I've learnt how to work with their admin system instead of their admin system working for me. GP and Nurse support has always been honest, friendly, and informative - and great when I've been nervous or in pain. Their online appointment system is not functional, and their phone system has improved in the last four months but still takes a long time to get to a human. I am waiting to see if the e-consult launch makes any difference. I DO recommend them for the quality of medical care!

Doctors are rarely available because they are rarely in the practice and you are not allowed to see an alternate doctor. GP turnover is high so you never know who your doctor is. Automated phone system is a joke, online system is a joke. Definitely not user friendly. Almost impossible to get through to a human. Don't bother calling on a "training" day because no on will be answering calls even "after 1:30pm". They also forget to action prescriptions so when you go to pick up meds from the pharmacy they are just not there. Farcical.

Always managed to get a quick appointment; helpful staff at the phone that always directed my query accordingly. Fantastic doctors and nurses!

Omg totally unprofessional, never return calls ask for your number and then don't call you back. Arrange for a doctor to call you he doesn't. Have to wait 4 weeks to see a doctor. Can't see it getting any better reception are hopeless

Time keeping is awful, no care and consideration. I've been waiting for an hour after my appointment was scheduled. I recommend Cowley Road medical practice if you want to be treated

This clinic is an absolute shambles and in need of a complete overhaul when it comes to how they run the reception. Because it is seemingly only ever staffed by 1 person, each time I have visited there has been a constant queue of people, and you can wait up to 20 minutes or more just to ask a simple question or even drop off a sample. They have a tablet available to provide your car licence plate details, and similar to other clinics I have seen, they should do the same for people who are confirming that they have arrived for their appointment. This would cut down the queue. Staffing it with at least 2 people would also help immensely as would a sense of being proactive. A recent appointment had to be cancelled because the required machine was broken, and they expected for them to be called back to check if the machine had been repaired and to make another appointment. Sense would dictate that a list of people who's appointments had been cancelled should be maintained and then those people are called back once the machine was repaired. There is just no sense of patient care from the admin side of this clinic.

Zero service, they are absolutely unpunctual, l don’t understand we had an appointment for a blood test 10:00 am and they call us at 11:30am. Disappointed

They need to hire more polite , well mannered and educated People as a receptionist . Receptionist named Rachel was very very rude to us when I visited with my child for her appointment. She has absolutely no manner at all to how to speak to patients especially with children 👶. I wish I could give them zero rating but the lowest here is 1 star.

This practice was not great before the pandemic, now the situation has become ridiculous. It's IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment with a Dr. that is sooner than 3 weeks away (even for a call appointment, even for a toddler's appointment!). Also agree with the rest of the comments that the receptionists are not there to help, they are there to tell you to use the online system!
