We signed an all inclusive bills contract with them, only once we moved in they said they didn't know the house had top-up meters. After we complained many times they gave us £80 to compensate for topping up the bills, at the end of the contract they took those £80 from our deposit. The garden we had wasn't cleaned at any point, we had a tree that according to our neighbors was about to fall and they told the landlord. During one evening the tree fell, destroying the garden and part of our neighbors' who came to our house to complain. They sent someone to cut the tree down and took some of the branches, but never cleaned the garden after it was broken. Didn't even clean the house after bringing all the dirt from the garden, we did. There's more things, but I believe this is enough. I honestly can'tt believe all those 5 stars

Absolutely shocking service. I viewed a room with this landlord. I decided I wanted to take the room and asked for the contract. After reading over the contract and sending a signed copy that very day (within an hour) they told me the next day somebody else had the room. I knew for a fact I had signed and sent the contact before this other person (this was not denied). By this point I had already handed in my notice with my current landlord as I was given the impression the room was mine as soon as I sent them the signed copy of the contract. Unfortunately, I was unable to revoke my notice and had to move out. No consideration or care given. Very unfair service and completely distrustful. ........................................................................... 18/11/2020 In response to your reply. I appreciate you taking the time to respond, it's only taken 2 years but I guess you've been busy. I have formulated a response based on what you are trying to say however you have some grammatical errors so I have had to make reasonable assumptions. In regard to your first point the property was not let with multiple agencies as you well know since the property I applied for is owned by yourselves and let with your in house team. Please get your facts straight before responding in future and don't try to discredit me with blatant lies. You are correct that you didn't sign the contract however I took you at your word (which was that I could have the property when I signed it) and I returned the contract within one hour of the viewing. I don't mind it being let to someone else but don't misinform viewers and make promises which you will not keep, it's bad practise and I'm embarrassed for you that I need to spell this out. I will eagerly await your next timely response, let's see if you can do it within the next decade!
