Haymarket Health Centre stoke-on-trent

Awful!!! Ring on the day for an appointment, when you do eventually get through they've all gone. Receptionist's are not helpful, sometimes they are very rude. When you do manage to get an appointment I always try and get one for a Saturday morning due to working out of the city and it's more convenient for me, only to be told there's none available. But having to go into the doctors on a Saturday morning to pick up a prescription it was full of OAPs!!!!! Why are these appointments given to people who can go during the week? Saturday appointments should be given to the worker's who can't make it during the day and shift worker's.

In all the years i’ve been registered with any surgery, this must be the absolute worst. Almost impossible to get an appointment. Often the earliest appointment is at least 6 weeks away. What makes the situation even worse are the untrained and unprofessional staff who do not have the courtesy nor the manners to speak respectfully to patients and their families.

This place is disgusting, especially the manager Ruth who has no concern for patient safety and health, had few appointments, she cancelled them and said I could only have 1! What a joke. I have 2 different doctors who deal with my depression which is severe and 1 doctor who was going to help me with my Back issues and other medical problems. Well done Ruth, I cant see Doctor now. I wish you end up so poorly yourself that no one helps you and you get severe depression too. Everyone avoid!

Always helped me. Sometimes you have to wait. But The population in and around the area has got higher. So its in more demand. Great staff

Wait ages to see drs and nurses. Had huge amount of hip pain which I needed seeing to it wasn't urgent had to wait a month to see a Dr to tell me to go else where for bloods, also waiting 6 months for them to reffer me to a physiologist due to mental health issues. It's a joke you wait ages to see a Dr then wait months to see him again for catch up appointments. Other than that everyone is very approachable and place is clean but small

There seems to be a mixture of good and not so good practitioners. On Wednesday I had a telephone consultation that I felt was rushed. I had to call again Friday and got a totally different response. This GP listened to everything I had to say and explained in full detail what the plan was moving forward. He took time, consideration and I felt I had been treated like a human being and not just a number on his list. If all the GPs at the practice were of his standard I would have given 5 stars. I had a face to face consultation with Brandon and another doctor today at The Haymarket Health Centre, and they were incredibly helpful, professional and polite, doing all the necessary examinations to help with my problem. He actually took the time to listen to me instead of presuming and making his own mind up which past doctor's have neglected to do. Highly recommended! Thank you so much for your time

I rang the doctors after doing a night shift at work and ending it with a numb right leg and today back pain too, they were swift with their response to my details and really listened to what I was saying and the concerns I had, they didn’t patronise me or put anything down to my mental health which has been done before, even the receptionist who went out of her way to get me a phone appointment (given where I work and the shifts I do) which was a nice change and I really appreciated. Thank you for your quick response, respect and your understanding.
