Don't expect to see a doctor if you can still breathe

COVID has affected this practice badly. They used to be friendly and helpful on the front desk, now they are stressed and overworked. GPs are in short supply, they are protecting the few we have left and nurse practitioners might not be what you wanted but they’re there to filter the minor ailments that don’t require a GP.

Terrible service... How can they still be allowed to operate. Refusing to prescribe more expensive tablets even when they work. Good luck getting to see a doctor.

The receptionist on the phone basically plays god and not a kind one. Hardwood would be much healthier without her withholding their doctors. I only wish I could give less than 1 star.

Apparently the practice nurses at this establishment are more qualified to decide whether you need to be referred for plastic surgery than the consultants at A and E. ????

The doctors on the whole are good at this practice when you can get to see one However it's some of the backroom staff who really let this practice down They are rude, arrogant and abusive but if you retaliate they suddenly switch to victim mode and accuse you of being the aggressor There are a few of them who need to realise that parents are not trash and you speak as you want to be spoken too Not even medically trained just officer staff with an ego

I contacted the surgery online yesterday due to ongoing health difficulties. Today I received a text asking me to call the surgery to make an appt. I did this today - the person who answered had a very unhelpful tone of voice - I was left on the phone for over a minute whilst she discussed with her colleagues the pretzels they have just had! I then heard this person say to a colleague "what should I do with him"?!! Even better, I was told I would have to ring back tomorrow morning to get an appointment!! The absolute definition of dreadful and uncaring customer service. UPDATE: I received a phonecall from a very pleasant and helpful member of staff regarding the issues I'd had earlier in the day. This has now all been resolved and I'm really impressed with the swift response and help provided.
