I have personally dealt with Carol and Sarah at Harney and Wells for varying reasons. I can say wholeheartedly that I felt as if they cared about my cases as much as I did. The attention to detail, attentiveness and sheer level of determination to get the correct outcome was far more than I would have hoped for. Whilst dealing with courts and legal issues can be stressful and unenjoyable, H&W went above and beyond to reassure and explain every aspect of the process. As I have had great personal experience with this firm, I never hesitate to recommend them to my own clients from my business when the need arises.

Extremely unhappy how H&W handled my divorce and child proceedings. Unfortunately because of they professional negligence I lost my only son and they did not help with my divorce after I fled domestic violence and my ex-husband wanted to kill me. In the hands of H&W I suffered financial loss of £300K, lost my only child and been in and out mental health crises for last 9 years. On my complain about poor quality of service they replied that because I was using Legal Aid H&W not obligated represent and protect my interests. Think twice before use their legal service!

I had an initial appointment with Harney & Wells regarding divorce. I was kept waiting in the unsightly reception area, where there was no polite interaction from the staff. The solicitor I met with was incredibly brusque and insensitive. Divorce is not a pleasant subject but one could at least attempt to feign a polite and if not sympathetic, at least professional, manner. The woman's tone was awful and I frequently felt she thought I was less than intelligent as she kept repeating herself over and over (whilst looking down her nose at me). The office has one of the least welcoming reception areas I have come across in a long time, and the staff lack totally any human touch.

Really good and honest firm to work with. I have had several experiences with other solicitors in the past but would thoroughly recommend this company.
