Harley Street Medical Centre stoke-on-trent

Absolutely disgusting. Unfriendly, dismissive environment. Reception staff sour faced, giving a difficult experience from the get go. After being referred by a walk in clinic to see my GP urgently, they told me to go back to the walk in clinic?!? Absolutely outrageous, should be ashamed. Vulnerable people contact a GP, should be treated with empathy and concern.

My mother is a patient here and I am in contact with the surgery on a regular basic, Julie the receptionist is always very helpful and sorts out any issue I have about my mums condition & all the doctors that have been to visit her at home are very professional and treat her with respect.

Never really had a problem with any doctors or staff. The environment looks a little dated, but I don't really care what it looks like, as long as its clean, which it is. I don't understand all the negativity on here. I have a doctor that actually listens to me, and remembers me even after not seeing me for 12 months!

This is my 3rd doctors surgery in the past 2 years i finally feel i have found a surgery that cares and that are clearly here to help and not just there for the money thank you

Absolutely unbelievable how this place is turned from a medical centre to a centre that nobody cares if the people who come in have serious problems with their health or any sort of disease that needs to be treated. Rude staff and unpleasant environment nobody is willing to help!

Never had a problem with this surgery I've been here for since I was a child. I had a issue with a prescription once I contacted them and they were able to resolve the matter promptly. The doctor there is thorough when I hurt my ribs she gave a good go over . She was great. However more receptionist s are needed as there is a very long wait to get through

My roommate and I have both been trying to contact the centre for three weeks solid and have never been able to make it through on the phone lines. He with a long healing dislocation that needs rehabilitation and me with a new issue that has yet to be seen to. Neither of us can get into contact with a staff member no matter what time of day we call. Most of the time the phone lines are entirely blank, otherwise they state their phone lines are closed long past the 2pm they mention in the automated message. I am genuinely confused as to how anyone is able to make an appointment here or get treated when necessary. For a site that deals largely with students this is a terribly run establishment and I'd suggest switching to any other available GP.

I have no words, for several weeks I've tried to contact them and all the efforts were in vain. Going to the clinic for help, they refused me and sent me home to make a phone call. I've tried several times to contact a doctor on the phone, but their phone always is busy. Even if you start calling at 7:59, it's still busy. One day I had called them 163 times within half an our. This clinic definitely does not want to help people and does not care about its patients at all. I'm sick of them.

I understand that the NHS are under a lot of pressure due to Covid and underfunding, but 18 months after this pandemic started, it’s still impossible to get a GP appointment here. They tell you to phone at 8am and if you can’t get through they tell you to try the next day and so forth. Been unable to get an appointment for over six weeks now and my condition is getting worse. The only answer from the receptionist is to go to A&E and wait to be seen there, but then A&E tell you to go back to your GP surgery as it’s not an emergency - what a nightmare!

I have just had a medication query and the receptionist was both efficient and helpful. Great service.
