5/ 5

Great ground, has toilet facilities that are clean and even a mobile coffee van so we were able to get hot and cold drinks. It's just a shame a few of the away team players and parents had no respect for the game, our team or referee! That isn't something Hardy Farm could help though, if the parents don't have respect it's unlikely their kids will!

5/ 5

Area is dotted with Old apple, plumb, cherry and other fruit trees along side gooseberry bushes and berries which are well established as area not harvested for decades. This (Green Mersey Corridor) area of Manchester has a colony of green ring necked parakeets which seems to be thriving and growing year on year with a flock of 1,000 recently being spotted in a park in Preston according to Alan Wright, Communications Manager for The Wildlife Trust in Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside so this colony has potential to grow year on year. Kids love trying to spot these bright green birds and this combined with forridging for fruit definitely helps to motivate them and get some exercise in the fresh air. Some really nice walks around and alongside the river, chorlton and Sale water parks. Now alao easily accessible by Metrolink (Airport line) depart at Sale Water park station if you want to leave the car at home.
