Cromwell and King James have stayed in this historic house. - When the Court and grounds were offered for sale in 1920 the catalogue describes Hanham Court and Grounds extending to about 48 acres so we see how, over the years the various parts of the estate belonging to the Manor had dwindled as various parts were sold. Historic Hanham Court was home to the Creswicke family for over two hundred years.
