Great One-Day Upholstery Course at Hamilton and Hodson. Nicky and Erica are lovely, very knowledgeable and friendly. Small class of just 4 students meant that there was lots of help!

A fantastic Result We’ve had a gorgeous and much loved antique chair in our family since forever. The seat had pretty much given out years ago; a beautiful chair, but with the only practical use of piling clothes on it, in a bedroom. Now we have a fully operational bedroom / desk / dining chair! Really thrilled with the result; lovingly and authentically restored; a fantastic piece of furniture for the children to fight over one day. So pleased and grateful; big thanks to team Hamilton & Hodson. What an amazing location also – in a train station, beautiful. Recommended? It’s a yes from me!

Nicky and Erica took on the unusual task of reducing the size of a huge sofa so it would fit in my new, much smaller apartment. Nicky approached the work very thoughtfully, and has done an excellent job at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Very happy with my recently repaired and re-upholstered sofa. It looks beautiful and is once again very comfortable. Nicky and Erica were easy to communicate with and helpful when we were choosing the fabric. I used Hamilton and Hodson more than ten years ago, and returned because I found both the service and the finished product excellent at the time. Nothing has changed.

A wonderful day making my stool look like something special. And time to make a cushion. I had a lot of help in this small but superb upholstery business. the team were very friendly and on hand to point you in the right direction. an unusual setting which was an added bonus for me. I felt like I was part of something.. i will remember that day. positively.

What an amazing team. My family's mid Victorian chair will now be handed down and stay in the family for another 150 year thanks to Erica's great skills.

Went to Hamilton & Hodson on recommendation f(rom a friend who'd had a new sofa customised when she moved flats) and wasn't disappointed. Getting a classic 50's Parker Knoll armchair revived so have had great fun selecting new material to bring an old family treasure back to life. They hold an incredible range of sample books, classic and contemporary, so you'll spoilt for choice. Really friendly and good advice on how patterns might work. So looking forward to seeing the finished results. Photos will follow.....
