A great venue for groups of friends or colleagues to enjoy drinks and excellent food. Have visited on a number of occasions but this time was a very quick drink after a shopping trip. The place was buzzing with several groups of hen parties and stags as was the whole of Bath today - have never seen so many in Bath before! Good natured though and added to the general fun of the place.

Fabulous, friendly service, great choice of food, reasonably priced. The vintage photos were much admired too! Very helpful with our surprise cake as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal last week. Highly recommended.

Totally unassuming from the outside, we nearly gave this place a miss. Fortunately we didn't. Simple menu but with enough choice and also a choice of portion size, the service was great and the food nicely served in the quirky overall style. The food was hot and not overcooked; for what it was and what it cost it really was impossible to fault. Although I'm posting pictures of fried food, there were several other options that some of our group chose.

Really nice atmosphere, but quite bad service, having worked as a server myself I was really surprised at the low standards.- sat on the rooftop and had absolutely no acknowledgement from staff after we received our first drinks. Was also a bit uncomfortable as we were actively trying to engage with any staff member to be able to order second drinks and they all gave the impression of avoiding making eye contact with us and focused on older groups of customers. The tables around us received constant attention, so we didn't really understand why no one even came over to ask if we wanted something else as our glasses were clearly empty and we were talking about getting something else. After waiting about 50 mins trying to get the attention of staff we decided to walk downstairs to pay at the bar as no one was acknowledging us. Turns out whoever placed our original order didn't put it on the correct table number, and also had started mixing our bill with the bill from the table next to us , so had to be clear on what we actually ordered.

Lovely venue, pleasant staff, But we ordered non alcoholic drinks and all three were not available, so it took ages just to get a drink. When we had bill two of the non available drinks were on it. Eventually the bill was amended and the water and cola that we had was "on the house". Shame really because the food was very good and staff excellent

Big nice bar/pub with an amazing roof terrace. Serves a selection of drinks and food. It was very busy when we came and there were no tables available for food (we wanted drinks anyway). The roof terrace had really nice views, but it was really chilly and the heaters were all off/broken. Nice visit, but if you're going on the roof make sure you're wrapped up.
