I would have preferred to give no stars but its not possible, however this is a bank where from manager down are not just out of touch with their customers but out of touch with the products they sell, and each person who works here has a different way of interpreting them and so confusion for them is normal it maybe that now they belong to the Lloyds group, but sell Bank of Scotland products also that causes this outcome, but their lack of training is evident in every way, from their meet and greet person who seems to only meet and greet her friends ignoring other customers to the manager who gives advice that it contradictory to the cashiers. The advertising for the Halifax that "because you do more" this branch couldn't do less the marketing hasn't got through to the employers here, the Halifax tree requires pruning and it would be a good idea to start with this branch, i heard several of the cashiers and staff after waiting over an hour at the counter tripping out their corporate saying to customers who they couldn't deal with "is there anything else i can help you with today" if only they could, i would recommend anyone else suffering needlessly to write to the head office which i did at least you get someone who is trained and offers apologizes sincerely unlike these ill mannered time wasters. I have to make one comment one member of staff a cashier was in fact very nice and did apologize sadly i could not catch her name.

After completing online application for a Youth Account we had to go to local branch Bramley with all relevant ID , I rang customer services to ask if daughter had to attend she said NO , arrived at Bramley branch was told by very cocksure and abrupt agent that we had been mis-informed and had to have daughter present , the opening times here are 9-3pm so unless daughter has time off school this Account is not getting opened , ridiculous!!!

Hour's of opening are ridiculous, I work five days a week, full time as of many people do and have no chance of getting to the Halifax, pudsey or Bramley, you need to go back to your original closing times plus Saturday mornings.
