Got always nice service, never have had any issues with stuff or bank. For last 5 years my bank, every time i have turned around they solved issues. Even when I have got appointment and they told they cannot find it in their appointment list, they sorted it out.

How many bank clerks does it take to pay in £200 cash? The answer is 3 CLERKS in an empty bank and 12 minutes!!! This is incredible. How unefficient can you be?! Shocked is an understatement. I had to leave to go work and they still hadn't paid it in. Then they wrote me a paper receipt for £300 paid in, which I told them was wrong then had a wait another minute for them to correct it. Hopeless is an understatement. Just close this branch if you cant even process the most simple of tasks. Honestly shocking.i cant imagine how they would have coped with a full banks worth of customers.

Surly ,nasty and unhelpful. I'm told as a Bank of Scotland customer that I'm able to pay money into a Halifax and can do everything I could do in either bank but the mean spirited management always declines to assist refusing to do the job they are getting paid to do from their parent group which partially is still aflot thanks to the government bailout it got. I mention this because I've found the banks have become less helpful and user friendly since that earth shaking moment of history.

Refused to let me in at 2:05pm because of reduced hours during lockdown (closing time 2pm). I can understand them sticking to the clock during regular working hours, but sending customers away seconds after an arbitrarily early closing time is rude & childish.
