Use quite often for my ebike, staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Usually they will do any quick repairs on the day. But be prepared to wait longer if busy.

I was waiting 2 weeks for steering wheel control cable to radio , then I cancelled the order. I came back again and I spoke to Liza ? A woman who fits the radios. She said thats becasue she was on holiday. I thought to myself ok let's do it again. And the same story. I was waiting for another 2 weeks. After week one I came back to store asked her what's going on. She said, she will phone them on Thursday and she promised she phones me back asap. I never got any phone call from her or shop. Totally ignorance. I went to Autotech Edinburgh ltd. It took them 3 days to get the cable. They fitted it in 20 minutes. And charged me much more less than them. Anyway they order cables what you can get about 20£ cheaper on website. AVOID AT ALL COST

Usually I don't write reviews on Google unless the service is really great or worse. Since this is a bad time around due to COVID-19. I was really struggling to repair my cycle. I visited two shops but they all were showing very busy and had no appointment for 2-3 weeks. When I went to Halfords, they were very welcoming and immediately took my bike for work. Just in 10 minutes they fixed the issue and also did not charged anything. I am highly impressed with the amazing customer service and facility. Keep up the great work! Thank you

Some very troubled staffing issues in this store just now. Everyone is really surly , stressed and unhelpful. Looks like burn out. Beware if ordering a bike. Recently purchased a £220 bike. Not a cheap purchase I may add. I finally find out from the store manager , a decent enough but beleaguered looking bloke called Craig, that the local store has ‘no idea ‘ what the on line tracking system is telling you and is actually not communicating to you what is actually going on in the store. What on earth is the point in that ? Apparently so however. Back to my story. Deadline for bike assembly came and went. The tracking app says ‘we will contact you when ready for collection’ . I continue to be a dutiful non-harassing , COVID aware , customer. Didn’t want to press them . Got to day 3 ‘post deadline‘ for bike to be ready. Still no call! What do I do ? Rang store possibly ten times without exaggeration. No answer at all ! What do I do ? On line chat line completely useless and very rude to me . Rang head office. Nice lady. She couldn’t get through to store ! “Sorry”. Got into car . Went down. Spoke to a very depressed girl. No explanation , no apology , no offers to compensate. In fact , absolutely no customer rapport at all . So just to say again , be aware , the store apparently have no relationship with the on line tracking system. IF YOU ARE BUYING ON LINE DON’T TAKE ANY NOTICE OF TRACKING - DON’T RING YOU WONT GET AN ANSWER - you will need to keep visiting you check . Or maybe visit Decathlon. Not sure if it’s better there just now.
