Halfords bristol

Terrible service. I had to change my back wheel and after one use is broken again. When they changed it, the brake wasn't applied too. It's not the first time this happen. All the time I come in this place I have trouble after few days. Absolutely not recomended. Don't go there.

I'm pretty sure there was a time when Halfords provided good service and good value for money. But it seems the problem with this store at least is staffing it with young staff who are unable to provide advice or even work one of their own systems. I went in to the store today on the off chance that I would be able to use their bundled buy and fit service for a roof rack and roof box. Found a great little tablet fixed to the shelf next to roof racks where I was able to enter my car registration and build a bundle of roof rack and box suitable for my car. Was told by the tablet to give a number displayed on screen to the nearest member of staff. This is where the whole process broke down. The poor teenager behind the counter looked nervous as he said 'dunno' and asked an equally puzzled teenager next to him who said 'I didn't think that thing was even working, we can't use that, its not finished yet'. Never mind I said, lets just get the parts and can you fit today. Oh no, we can't fit today, we can give you an hour slot in about two weeks time. Good thing I didn't want a set of wiper blades fitted in a thunderstorm! Oh well, looks like I will order from Amazon instead and save myself some money. Long live the retail store.

Made a reservation for an item. Went to the store to pick it up, was told they are out of stock of the item, and that their systems are faulty, and I should have had a call to tell me they are out of stock, which would have saved me the trip to the store. What's the point in being able to reserve an item if I can't actually RESERVE it? Absolute rubbish. If you plan on reserving an item here, don't bother. Never going here again.

Bought bike in or fix up, halfords gave it new tires and said everything else was fine. Still broken. Took it to Ben's cycle workshop, he spotted bent rear axle. Seems Halfords knowledge only go as far as how do the tires look.

A quick, efficient, friendly service. For once, I felt really valued as a customer. Staff were polite, knew their products and availability and provided a fast efficient service on my car, changing bulbs and windscreen wipers. Didn't take long and they were trustworthy and kept me informed. Fantastic, awesome experience. Well done and thank you, as I do suffer from anxiety in shops, but I was totally at ease at this branch.

I ordered a roof bar & box to fit my car. All my information was correct but when it was attempted to be installed, it turns out they had the wrong parts/sizes. After a long encounter it was proven that the issue lied with them. The roof bars was then fitted not long after. Easy installation, just let down by the error.

Very helpful with sorting out a new battery for my car. No waiting time, done efficiently asap. Lovely young chap, friendly and professional.

Brilliant customer service. We bought a roof box from the Winterstoke branch and when we went to fit it the key snapped off in the lock. The staff at the branch went over and above to make sure we got a replacement as we were setting off the next morning and wouldn’t have time to sort it in the morning. Would totally recommend this branch of Halfords.

Charlie was very helpful today. I feel helped and listened to whenever I shop at Halfords. The service is always polite all staff smile and say hello. Always Happy to help!
