John has been teaching my son for two years. He is an excellent teacher a superb drummer and a very nice man. He has taken my son from beginner to solid drummer and kept it interesting and fun with a well structured and interesting programme.

3 years ago at the age of 52 I decided I wanted fulfill an ambition I had always had since being a child. Being somewhat older than Johns usual students I didn't know if anybody would want to teach me, however this was not a problem for John at all. He is very helpful and extremely patient. When I got my first drum kit John came round and helped set everything up and also tuned it up for me. I really enjoy my weekly lessons it's a great way to unwind.So if you're thinking of taking up playing the drums I would definitely recommend HEA drum tuition John is a fantastic teacher.

Hello to everyone . I have known John many years while my grandson had drum lessons with with H.E.A . John came to our home and and gave Ben years of happy lessons .John became a very welcome person in my home . He is honest trustworthy and a brilliant teacher . As my grandson had disability problems John was very very patient and understanding . So my advice would be chose John of H.E.A drums and you won’t go wrong . Pat

My son hasnt been doing lessons for long with John but what he has learnt is alot and has really come on in a short time. I would really recommend John H.E.A drumming Tuition.

My boys (aged 10 and 7) have been having drum lessons with John now since October 2018 and I wasn't expecting them to have progressed as quickly as they have. John is VERY patient with the boys but he is also firm and sets them small targets (know as 'Stages') each lesson to achieve which really helps the kids stay focused and motivated as they progress from one stage to another. In fact they are more motivated to practice the stage before the following weeks lesson so that they can tick off that stage and move onto the next one during the session. I would recommend John to anyone wanting to learn the drums, he has the patient of a saint and is a very good teacher.

John is a great teacher if you're wanting to be taught the drums by not just a seasoned professional, but by a nice guy who is willing to be patient. I found I was flying through the lessons quicker than both he and I expected. I have no hesitation in recommending John whatsoever.
