More than a relaxing place to take a stroll, if you have the time to sit, look, listen. You can easily forget you are really outside the ULEZ, This is an Ice-cream van friendly borough. Open 24/7

Undisturbed triangular marshy woodland since World War Two. Fenced in since the 1990's to stop ne'er-do-wells and developers encroaching onto it. A veritable haven for wildlife which can be seen from the train as you come into Gunnersbury Station. Personally, I think it should be closed to the public to allow the wildlife to thrive undisturbed. But I also ken that it's wellbeing and survival possibly depends on the visitors to educate the next generation of nature lovers. Nearest station is Chiswick Park.

Beautiful, tranquil and unspoilt green haven in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Chiswick. Still a real secret for the few that know it’s only entrance! Well worth a visit.

What an absolute treasure trove hidden away in bustling Chiswick! Surprisingly bigger than you think and full of abundance to bask in/wonder around and generally escape from city life. The wildlife Trust talks/walks they do are also great! Really informative.. will be interesting to see how it becomes in its development -Very much looking forward to the new centre!

Went back after 25 years to see what it's like now. Back then I went for a science project when I was at college. It's all overgrown now can not see the pond because its all overgrown it was a big pond but can only see a tiny bit of water near the bridge. The paths are very narrow and muddy and slippery went October. Maybe in mid summer that might be better. But easy to get lost in there, it's like a forest. Check numbers on the end of paths as it will help you find way out. Number 1 is the exit. We only saw one person and they seemed to be acting strange. Might not be the safest place to go as its not a open park with lots people about. It's a shame 25 years ago was nice and felt safe but now totally different. I suspect they will close it and build flats apartment on the land soon like they are doing in most of London, but on this occasion think that would be the best thing to do for this place.

I haven't visited since the start of the COVID scare. However, it is a marvellous place and we are lucky to have this in a city area. Long may it remain free from developers.
