Groupia School Trips bath

I couldn’t be more disgusted with the service. Took my deposit and from there, didn’t respond to any one of my 4 emails to try and arrange. I booked it all myself in the end and when I tried to cancel, they kept my deposit. Nothing short of cowboys this company, avoid at all costs and do yourself a favour, book it yourself or use someone else.

Groupia allowed others to forge consent forms and gave them access to my personal groupia account. I would not recommend with personal information as their processes show they neglect to protect private data. Senior Event Manager Catherine Rotchell refused to provide me with consent forms Irequested and was overall not helpful in resolving the issue.

Had Hen do book originally for June 2020. We were called by restaurant directly to cancel booking due to covid. Tried to get a refund of deposits at this time but got told this wasn't an option. Only option was to be given a deposit guarantee; point blank refund refused. We were then told we would have too book by December 2020. How could we book when we had no idea when the covid restrictions would be lifted? We also never received a chase email from them regarding this; this is because they know they wouldn't have been able to book anything!! Have tried to get a refund but have been refused!! Disgusting company would avoid like the plague!!

Shocking company. Due to covid and weddings/ hen do cancelled. Struggled to get through to company on phone and was told by email we had to rebook by last December when we had no idea when things would resume or when our friends wedding would even be. We wanted a refund of our deposit back but was faced with difficult responses. We have now lost our deposits because we didn't rebook? I mean things have only restarted a month ago with beauty treatments... Our friends wedding isn't even until next year now. We had no chase up to say we needed to book soon etc. I understand last year was hard on businesses like this but it was hard on us all financially and emotionally too and compassion is needed. Don't know how a business like this can continue when being so stuck in their ways and no wiggle room and frankly just being rude.

Shocking service. Couldn’t move my stag do even though there’s a global pandemic (which they think going on a stag do would be acceptable) and getting less than half the refund which has taken 4 months to sort. Seems as long as you have paid all your money they couldn’t care about what happens after that.
