Very nice service. Good pricing, great cars. I rented a Jaguar E-Pace. Loved the car. Drove all over northern Scotland. I always purchase the full coverage and prepaid fuel, whomever I rent from. The turn in process was easy and quick. They drove us to the terminal at Glasgow in a private van. I can say my experience with Green Motion was excellent and would rent from them again. Thanks for a great experience.

Such a horrible experience. Scammed, had to take a taxi home and back to collect documents which they still wouldn't accept. Whatever they say about "our terms and conditions clearly state . . .", I would say that's rubbish. The terms and conditions are deliberately misleading so they can add extra charges and that is completely against the law. Complaints department are useless, managed to get £50 out of them but that hardly made up for the extra costs I was charged and the upsetting experience that I had. Please ignore the positive reviews and avoid. To Green Motion, don't bother replying as I know what you'll say. Your business is fraudulent, sort it out or close and re-open under ANOTHER new name and see if you can do better.

Terrible... Dishonest location... Do not use.... They claim that only front embossed credit cards are accepted (whatever that means...) . BUT... For 7 pounds more per day they will accept my card... Watching them "check in" cars Beware.... Wow, they were on their hands and knees... Don't use

Unable to book a prestige care with any of the major on-airport car rental companies - 'Your vehicle of choice is unavailable' - I searched for off-airport providers for my Boxing Day arrival. I'd read mixed reviews about Green Motion some years back so was cautious about booking with them. They are off-airport, albeit only 5 minutes away, close at 18:00 and my flight was arriving at 17:30! Gulp! However, they were extremely helpful from start to finish. They assured me that they would be there to collect me, having sped me through advanced check-in. Very handy! I was on my way within 5 minutes of arriving at their Inchinnan facility. My auto BMW320i was a pleasure to drive. They have a mileage limit per day then a supplement. However, I knew that I'd hardly use 50% of the allowance and the rental itself was well within my budget. Handover at the end of the rental was swift and efficient and I was on my way to the airport via Green Motion's courtesy bus with a few minutes. I only require a rental each December as I drive to Glasgow at other times. Whatever you might have heard about their service in the past, they've definitely listened to customers' feedback and are definitely worth a try. Very pleased all round! Will use them again.

We enjoyed the experience with Green Motion. We were hiring a car for our trip up North. Car was in tip top condition as well as an upgrade. The desk agent was very professional and personable. The location is very convenient, short ride from terminal by very comfortable Minibus. My deposit was returned in few days. Recommend to Everyone looking for customer oriented services. I rented a car from them, showed up and had to pay an additional sum for the rental. My card does not have a pin associated. My mistake is that I failed to note the small writing that they could choose to require a pin. Many US credit card companies don’t issue a pin for credit cards, only for debit cards. Here’s where the fun began. The man in the website photos, a little arrogant pipsqueak refused cash, refused to use another card, refused to cancel and rebook. He got very loud when I became upset he threw us out of his office onto the street with our bags in hand (after an international flight). We trudged back to the rental car center and had to then pay premium prices. When I discussed this with the new rental company he said they all knew about this ripoff rental agent. Bottom line was that my Visa company refunded the money after I refused payment. They are crooks who take advantage of their “small print”, and I’m sure make it routine to prey upon United States citizens who don’t use pins for their credit cards. Beware of this man and his company, I’m sure they re-rented my car to someone else that same morning, now having pocketed my $750.

GREEN MOTION CAR HIRE RIP OFF CAR HIRE COMPANY Watch out I hired a car in Glasgow Airport and drive into Glasgow city parked at hotel roadside to load and unload luggage and was given two pcn tickets by council my error £120.00 In addition Green Motion hire car company have charged me £136 admin for this error and tell me read point 12 of agreement in small print. I received an email telling me if I continue in this matter disputing charge they will increase it to £190.00 This charge is disgraceful I questioned it and was told read small print watch this company will try to rip you off

excellent car hire service (especially if travelling into glasgow airport). I have rented cars twice from this company and all the staff there have been exceptionally polite and very understanding, especially Brian, who collected me out of hours and made the whole transaction and hire process smooth and super fast. the cars have been great to drive and spotless. Great prices too. highly recommended company!
