My granddaughter has been continually bullied for the past 18 months , we have approached the school

My granddaughter has been continually bullied for the past 18 months , we have approached the school on occasions to try & solve the problem, but to no avail. My granddaughter even plucked up the courage to speak to the headmistress about what was going on & she has done precisely nothing. My granddaughter has had to put up with emotional abuse , damage to her property & clothing , things being stolen from her desk & bag left in the cloakroom. The worst event happened the day before they broke up for summer , when another pupil kicked my granddaughter repeatedly in the back & I have pictures to prove the injuries. The school say there is no evidence as the perpetrator denies it - as usual - & even her form tutor has said he didnt believe she was being bullied ... what more evidence do they need ? Does she have to do something drastic for the people who are in.loco parentis to actually do their job & look after the pupils in their care ? The headmistress has not been in touch , even after contacting school & informing them of what is going on. Very , very disappointed in the quality of care of my granddaughter & am now seriously looking to move her to another school for her own safety & peace of mind. Would not recommend this school to any prospective parent. Since it gained acadamy status , it just seems to be run as a business & I dont feel the children's best interests are in the forefront.
