This place is a hidden gem in Leeds. Lots of nice bars and places to eat. The site is clean and the security staff that work on site are friendly. They helped me find where I was going and were actually nice. Right on the canal and the place is a beautiful spot to sit and have a beer.

Was originally an area for small business. Then the dark archies were opened up and many a craft stall installed, it was booming on weekends but dead during the week. So many a craft business shut down. But some hung on with promises from Leeds city council that they would be building a direct stairway for the train station to the dark archies and give them better access to customers. Well it's easy to see how that turned out. Dark archies turned into car parking and lots of flats, sorry apartments and offices/ hotels built. Still though did Leeds really need a place with cheap rates for small business owners to try and flourish when it can have expensive private flats and offices

3/ 5

Granary Wharf around the Hilton Leeds and private residential building were great. But if you walk under the brick viaducts, it gets shady as there is poor lighting, presence of homeless people and foul smell.
