We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. This is a fantastic hotel. There is ample parking, the wi-fi is fast, and the breakfast is delicious. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. Special thanks to Darren at the front desk. The hotel has attended to every detail, including the spacious room, comfortable beds, huge towels, nice soap, and ample water flow so showers are a treat. All this at a reasonable price. Will certainly stay there again.

Former Swallow hotel. Completely changed! Urban hotel is decor is superb. However staff at the bar on duty around 13:00 on 16th August just need to be more professional. My husband and I visited the place for a light lunch, soup! We approached at the bar because menu brochures were there. We asked for soup. The three staff at the bar then started asking each other what's the soup of the day today and then answering each other "I don't know, I don't know!" in front of us customers. This was very unprofessional especially when they had menu brochures at the bar. To make things worse one of the three staff shouted across over to a fourth member of staff serving customers in the eating area " what's the soup of the day?" this person then shouted back "I don't know". It was at this point that one of the three staff at the bar said " this is embarrassing, I will go and find out". Gosh!! We nearly walked out. Very unprofessional conduct by staff. I have never experienced anything like this before. Soup was lovely though.

Amazing, modern and clean hotel!! Would not stay anywhere else in Glasgow after staying here. Close to bus stop, subway and city centre. The staff where all so friendly, especially Tony at reception, he was so helpful and his knowledge of Glasgow and how to get to and from places was first class. 10/10!!

Worst hotel food we have ever experienced. The room was adequate and staff ever so pleasant and helpful. We had dinner there which consisted of fish and chips the fish was almost non existent and mostly batter. We also had dessert of lemon tart and berries. The lemon tart was from a pack of 6 jam tarts with a bit of toffee on top and some squashed berries, all for £7. However we tried breakfast, on weiting this I can still taste the most horrible bit of sausage, the breakfast was a buffet but had no fried or boiled egg, no beans and no mushrooms, to get these you had to order breakfast from the kitchen which cost a further £15. I certainly would never go back this "hotel" and would not recommend to anyone. Unfortunately had to add a star but wouldn't given the choice.

Was expecting more from this hotel based on reviews. The rooms were ok but the bathrooms a bit small. No plugs next to the bed which is never ideal when traveling and using your phone as an alarm. The breakfast and dinner service was ok. Food very average and the service slow. On a positive note parking is easy and the reception staff friendly.

How do people rate this so low? I loved it!! The decor is great, the staff so friendly and happy and the food is the best I've had in a long time of travelling. It's a hotel - people use it a lot, faults occur, it's not the fault of the staff so don't give them grief!! Speak to them as you'd like to be spoken to!! I loved it here and will definitely stay again! Well done folks, keep it up!! Loved my stay!!!!

Excellent there for Glasgow and West of Scotland Branch Dinner. Fantastic venue for this event. Suzzanne and Barry were excellent Ambassadors for your hotel. Staff were really efficient and polite and nothing was to much trouble for them. Dinner was excellent and went like clockwork. Heating in hall could have been a lot better. Entertainment ABBA`s Dream were SUPER TROUPER. All in All a fantastic night of good service and fantastic company.

A nice hotel close to the subway. Clean and good room quality. Currently struggling with food and bar service and breakfast and evening drinks were not available on my recent visit and hence only 3 stars. Given the lack of alternative good bars and dining in the locality this was an issue on a 3 night stay.

It was a bad experience to stay at this hotel. From the outside, the structure looks very nice, but the inside of the hotel is unfortunately very old. at the reception they only asked me the name is nothing else which does not seem normal to me (they did not ask me for documents). however as soon as we arrived in the room (the door was open) we realized that it was not what we had booked, the room was unfortunately dirty, dust everywhere, in the bathroom there was no toilet paper and there was hair everywhere. I immediately went to the reception to talk and they told us that they will fix everything immediately…. we returned to the hotel after 3/4 hours but unfortunately they only brought toilet paper, no cleaning. we were very disappointed. in my opinion the hotel does not deserve 3 stars. we paid £ 75 for one night which is an exaggerated price for what it offers. I'm sorry to leave a bad review but it's the truth. they will never return to this hotel and I do not recommend it to everyone. there are many other hotels that certainly cost less and offer many things that unfortunately you cannot find here
