Go Outdoors edinburgh

Amazing outdoors store! Didn't find this store until the end of our stay in Edinburgh after shopping and Cotswold and Trespass earlier in our trip. The prices here were half of what we paid at the other stores for camping cutlery. The store is huge and well spread out. Great range of products. Staff were very knowledgable and helpful. They knew what they were talking about. Good sale on when we went.

The staff in this store really are excellent and the prices and range of equipment is great. It's hard to single out particular staff but I've had lots of useful climbing advice from William and tonight when I had a return and a couple of slightly awkward purchases just around closing time, Jane was extremely friendly and patient at the tills. I spend too much time and money in here and no doubt it will continue ...

Big thumbs up to "komrad" the customer rep who helped me today. He works in the bike section, such a gentleman, found out all the details I wanted know about the bike, helped me get the right one for my husband's birthday, carried all the extra bits and got it fit into my car. Very helpful and friendly.. probably the best customer rep I met so far.. a very pleased customer!!

Great place and the discount card is worth it for the better prices

Great shop with really sound staff. The Doris and I went in today to get some new climbing shoes. The staff left us to help ourselves to trying on a huge collection of shoes, and there was a big artificial wall to test the shoes on. The dream climbing shoe buying experience. Five stars.

A very nice store if you are looking for things or equipment for trips to nature and more. A very large selection. I have been here several times and bought equipment for the tent and for hiking in the mountains. Always satisfied with the purchased items. Staff always friendly and helpful. With the GO Outdoor loyalty card many discounts that save a few pounds

Bit lacking in stock choice due to Covid-19 high sales and production gaps

Did not know this shop existed until I ordered a Christmas gift, waterproof trousers. Staff so helpful and an amazing selection of stock on many outdoor wear and activities. If you pay £5 for a yearly membership card you get some great deals plus NHS get another 10%.. Thank you to the lovely lady that served me at the pick up point, she was so lovely and appreciative of NHS staff. Will definitely be back!

It was the first time I visited Go outdoors and man the variety and quality of stuff that they have is just great! I was assisted by Michael with figuring out which hiking boots I needed to buy and he also taught us a great way to tie our boots differently, or maybe "correctly" :) which honestly made a good deal of difference. Other than that, yeah, works are going on in the area but the staff members are really very helpful; like they went out of their way to get people to help us find our stuff, which was very kind of them :) All in all my friend and I had a fun time and would definitely visit soon! :)
