Having read the reviews I went in with an open mind. First impressions was...it is a strange location. Driving through rural Gloucester then hotel located behind a housing estate. Was actually pleasantly surprised when I pulled up though. The hotel looked lovely. Was greeted by friendly and helpful staff who explained all to us. Evening meal was included we were advised to eat early due to a party of 36 arriving later that evening. Checked in, went to room which was spotless. Bed was comfortable had a shower and bath, TV and kettle so no complaints from me. Had a drink in the bar before our meal. Staff were friendly and was served straightaway. I do agree that the menu was limited for the evening meal but that said there were still nice choices. Food arrived quickly and was all cooked perfectly and we enjoyed all three courses. We didn't use the leisure facilities so no review on them but if I stay again I will definitely be bringing my swimming costume as the pool looked lovely and very inviting. Breakfast the next morning was lovely, my only complaint was the coffee wasn't the best but we arrived later for breakfast. We stayed one night but we would definitely stay again

Friendly, efficient check in. Large clean room. Lovely King Sized bed with crisp sheets. Basic, reasonably priced restaurant with excellent service, no long wait for meal to served. Superb swimming pool and gym. Even had a glass backed squash court. Well worth a visit. Would definitely use again.

Having read some negative reviews on here, I must confess to some trepidation at the prospect of spending a weekend at this hotel. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The welcome was warm, and our room on the ground floor was very clean and comfortable. Probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds ever with perfect pillows! We enjoyed an hour in the pool and jacuzzi before our late checkout at 2pm. Breakfast was fine, but as a vegetarian I would have liked the choice of a veggie sausage and my preference is to have food cooked to order rather than buffet style, but nonetheless I would happily recommend this hotel and would return.

Big room which is a plus did pay extra tho,1000 degree’s in the room with no air con and a tinny window to open.50% of the electrics and bulbs work.Stayed in nicer premier Inn’s.They don’t clean your room anymore on a daily basis due to “Corona” only before and after you stay. You have to ring up (mobile number)for normal things like loo roll and towels.Bloke on the main counter was a bit stuck up.Went to eat in the restaurant (paying)as we only got breakfast package. But couldn’t have anything to eat because of being“short staffed” and being over run but only having 3 tables full all night ???Ended up going to the docks fantastic food there.Swimming pools nice but not as big as the pics great photography tho !! Litter all over the place outside needs sorting before rats turn up.Another thing that annoys me is dirty sheets and towels are thrown outside of the fire escape on the grass,Left for ages before someone picks them up in a trolly to get washed.Never seen this method before ??? All in all it’s OKAY at best.over £420 for 4 nights with breakfast (Don’t get the sausage!!!!!) like I’ve sed I’ve stayed in better premier inn’s

Relatively quiet and pleasant. Stay was expensive for the service we received. Reception was empty on arrival, although manager when he arrived was pleasant and helpful. Restaurant and service was adequate for a 3 star hotel
