I sent 4 boxes to Sri Lanka's in January and was so impressed by the service in the UK and Sri Lanka's I wanted the goods delivered to a very rural district outside Colombo they managed to find it without any problems. I have been sending shipments over the last 30 years and this company was by far one of the best. Keep up the good work glen carries.

Very disappointed with Glen carriers. We had our house goods packed in Cambridge UK all well & good in October 2017. We recieved our goods in S.L 17. November. All our items which were completely repacked badly, most of our items were damaged, scratched & broken! Couldn’t get through to G.C to report our damaged goods, they under quoted & charged us double, will never use G.C again, very disappointed with this company. Mr R. Aluwihare.

Best shipping company UK to Sri lanka

Please please please do not use this company. Firstly, they shipped my 2 boxes via sea instead of air, meaning it took 10 weeks instead of 2. Secondly, and i believe this is criminal, they actually REPACKED my boxes, cramming one box into the other, i imagine so it was cheaper for them to ship. This caused literally hundreds of pounds worth of damage to my items. Devastating and some things irreplaceable. I feel absolutely violated I have called and they continuously tell me they will call back. Ive emailed, but they just ignore it I dont know if this can be escalated legally but i will sure as hell look into it

I have been using Glenn Carries for almost a decade now for sending door to door boxes to SriLanka. I find them extremely competitive in price, excellent service always willing to help customers going beyond their call of duty. The customer service is fantastic. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone!

The company has been around for decades- my parents and family used to use it regularly. It seems to be a very different company now and must be under different management. Last month (Nov ‘21) a large theft out of 2 of 3 of our boxes by the time they arrived in the provinces in Sri Lanka was met with no comment from the delivery drivers in Sri Lanka and no response from the UK manager to 3 phone calls (message given directly to a staff member) and 2 emails over the span of 3 weeks. It is surprising that a modern day company can have this level of poor communication. There is nothing we can do to retrieve the stolen items but it is the consistent refusal of the company to respond to our early enquiries that is most surprising. This is not the same Glen Carriers that built the reputation we and many others once trusted. There seems to be no admin staff there now to handle enquiries and provide customers with a basic service. We will not be using them again.

Very unreliable service.. customer service is below par and charges double to what’s stated..!! Really not a good service or standard provided.Says one thing and does another thing..!! Says one price and then charges another higher price. Can’t trust much with their shipment services. GLENN service is gone very low.

Worst company ever. I handed over my box on 30.11.2020 and they have shipped it from UK on 26.01.2021. Almost after 2 months. Even after 4 months we are yet receive the goods.. their answer is vessel has not arrived yet. Very unreliable... don't use this company
