When I planned to visit the company of Glasgow Wood Recycling, at 739 South Street on Wednesday, 11th September 2019. I entered the yard using the Barclay Curle Complex's Pedestrian Entrance via the Business Security entrance, where I had to press an Intercom and the Security person told me to enter by pushing the outside door! I showed him Glasgow Wood Recycling's business name and address I had printed out by researching the company online, it was the actual Security guard who directed me across the carpark and yard to the other company that the owner told me about, when he responded to my first review of what I thought was his company? The owner mentioned there was another company with two containers outside their warehouse, as the Security person didn't say any different, and there wasn't any sign to say what company they were, from the outside of the building. I assumed that was the actual location of Glasgow Wood Recycling's business? He was in the Barclay Curle Industrial Complex Security Office and pointed across the carpark. I assume he worked for Barclay Curle, and not for Glasgow Wood Recycling... The Security Guard could have gave me more information about their Industrial Estate and taken me across the carpark to where they were! Now a few days later, going by photos I have seen on Glasgow Wood Recycling's website, is actually past those other buildings with distinctive colors on the front of their businesses roof. I would like to say I am sorry for this error in my judgement, caused by a misinformed Security man at the site? I have now edited by Review on Google Maps and hope this makes it clear to other people interested in using Glasgow Wood Recycling! I am sorry for the harm this may have caused. This doesn't prevent me and my friend visiting again and hope to find the right location of their business, to look for Shelves for his house, if my friend still wants to do so. Got answer to my question about how to get to Glasgow Wood Recycling's address, thanks to James Woods for your reply, that's okay by car, but I am on foot, walking into the carpark from the entrance at South Street, large vehicles are coming and going all the time! Members of the public have to look out for vehicles and their own safety.

Well meaning but unrealistic about pricing considering they probably get most of it free.

Wonderful place to wander (post Covid restrictions) and get Ideas and timber to build. Three tables made so far and looking forward to visiting again as soon as allowed.

Outstandingly friendly & helpful staff. Amazing range of woods. Finding it was a wee bit of a challenge but the place & staff made it well worth it :)
