1.Staff : Horrible. Employees are rude and never work. receiving mail from staff takes a basic 3 to 5 days, and they are not kind to the students while they are making a living with student's money. My personal tutor is searching for Airbnb for holiday even during working hours hahaha 2:Progress : There are also 90 percent of Chinese students. Even after entering GU, most of the members of your course are almost that Chinese GIC students. There are only a limited number of majors available for admission to GU(If u want promising major(Data science, AI) plz not enter here. It is possible to enter UPS through other universities, but they do not even consider GIC. 3.Studying enviroment : Of course, the class is full of Chinese. I don't know somtimes, whether I'm in the UK or in China. However, like a teacher, unlike receptionists and UPS staff, they are very enthusiastic and try to help in many ways. I hope you don't waste money and time here. and staff!! after reading the all review here , u know what I am saying. Chinese student will suffer caz they can't see Goggle review caz they can't access here in there country. so sad. plz to be considerate and kind to your student.

Spent three terms at GIC and it was truly one of the worst experiences of my life. The staff is a complete joke with the exception of a couple tutors that made my experience somewhat bearable. They do not care about you, your academic progress, or your mental health/physical health. All they want is your money, and a lot of it. My days here were spent in anguish and I would strongly advise everyone to steer clear of this college and explore other options.

1/ 5

I would like to time to write my honest review of Glasgow International College (GIC) and my personal experience in GIC as a science and Engineering foundation student, The hardest and most stressful year in my entire life. 1. Teaching and faculty: The tutors gave me a very hard time during classes, assignments, and exams. It felt like being pushed to the edge, in a negative way, such as banning calculators in classes as well as exams. Not only have they done that, the teacher never gave us the answer to the practices we have to do as home works nor have provided me with a feedback for myself work. Tutors were arrogant and showing off as if the class is a parade for their ego what they have achieved in life, on top of that, they weren’t supportive at all. The whole purpose of the program is paving the way for students to enter high-ranked universities, however, being in GIC students were facing obstacles and stakes higher and harder than those faced by students enrolled in the university itself. 2. Student service team: Speaking as a first-time-away-from-home young student, I can confirm that the student service team is the worst in GIC. The main aim of the department is to give students needed support, well, they fail miserably at it. When I felt stressed, depressed, and oppressed by my teachers. Whenever I turn to the student service staff they just defend the teachers rather than trying to understand the issue and try to resolve it between the student and the tutor! And when I was alone and wanted to take a courageous decision to improve myself, they supressed me instead of supporting my decision with the excuse of being realistic, well good for me I proved I was capable of achieving what I sat my mind up to ALONE! To sum up, GIC made my life a living hell rather than paving my way into University of Glasgow, and I would never wish this experience to happen to my worst enemy. Definitely not recommending it to any person considering Kaplan Pathways.

For those looking for a fulfilling and extensive pathway programme to the University of Glasgow, great teaching, engaging modules, and a busy schedule (all worth it in the end)...then this is the place for you! I had a great time while I was there and got to make lifelong friends with fellow international students. The environment is clean, the classrooms were usually bright and cosy. The teachers were friendly, well qualified and very effective, often encouraging you to forge ahead. I recommend it to those who need a gentler landing into the norms and customs of the UK education, and want to get to embrace early the GOOD city of Glasgow.

I was in the law pathway course, I progressed and got my degree from The University of Glasgow. I had the best time here with people all over the world trying hard to find a way to enter into one of Scotland's finest university. In addition most of the teaching staff were also good.
