This is the best airport. I’ve been through it about 50 times, never waited more than 10 min for security, and that happened once, typically it’s about 3-4 minutes. Check-in is easy, has a good selection of food (if a bit pricey, but it is AN AIRPORT.) Lounge isn’t terrible. All in all, a great place to get on a plane to go somewhere.

Good airport experience, security queues usually aren't that bad, airport itself is easy to walk through no matter what terminal you are departing from. A lot of different shops/places to eat but do remember that the prices are quite a bit marked up. Airport bus is reliable (500) and departs several times an hour. However the ePassport Gates in the arrivals part of the airport don't seem to work for me and sometimes the security staff/staff at passport gate can be a bit abrupt.

Used the airport many times and its fine, but a little more info from security staff wouldn't go a miss. I had an issue today where my suitcase was diverted for extra security. I was asked to open my case (which I did) and the operative pulled a swab of some kind out and gave the inside of my case a wipe round edges and slotted into a machine. Everything was fine and I was on my way. If this has to be done, the customer should be informed why this check is necessary and what it's for. I'm all for keeping everyone safe, just let us know what you're doing in our suitcase and we will feel better served.

2nd worst airport in Britain next to Aberdeen, nothing warms the heart more than delightful security staff shouting at tourists because they are in the wrong passport queue, that's offcourse the fantastically efficient e gates which were supposed to speed up things but have slowed them right down either because they never work properly or nobody can work out which way the passport photo goes in.

The airport was good fast flowing until you had someone in line in front of that didn't have the paperwork, that bogged down everything. Not the airports fault. It was clean and the staff were helpful.

Just arrived into GLA tonight to have Christmas at home. What an absolutely depressing scene - barely any Christmas decorations to speak of. Nothing at the check in area. Bloody awful. Call yourself an International Airport. Have things not been miserable enough this last year + that you couldn’t have done a little better. If you are trying to encourage Americans back - via Glasgow- this won’t help. I can guarantee you that. It won’t encourage anyone! ‘Happy’ Christmas Glasgow Airport.
