Gielly Green Boutique Salon

I had the most brilliant service at Gielly Green. I went to get my hair done for my birthday. I was so impressed with Simone who was my stylist. He spent two hours restyling my old hair style giving me a completely new and beautiful look. I absolutely love my hair cut. It looks so so gorgeous. I trusted him with his advice and Simone took his time explaining me what style would suit my face. He's very professional, talented and friendly. Thank you so much Simone. Not only this, the team is very kind and polite. I was waiting to be picked up and had to wait for two hours after the service. They made me feel so comfortable and constantly offered me tea/coffee. Much appreciated :) Thank you so much.

Excellent. Loved my first visit and will definitely be coming back. If it is your sort of thing, then you'll enjoy the stylish interior and the lie down beds for shampooing. As for me, it is the hair stylists that make or break a salon, and I didn't leave disappointed. My stylist, Simone, exuded confidence and professionalism - very obviously talented and experienced. A good eye for what looks good, too. Beautiful bouncy layers, thank you! See you when I get sick of my long hair again! ;P

Finally back in the salon with Gielly Green.. The best way to spend a Sunday! The salon was so clean and I was made to feel safe from start to finish with social distancing being applied throughout. The team are doing a fantastic job giving clients the usual salon experience in the safest way possible. Lauren Marr is the only person I let touch my hair colour and somehow she manages to get it right time and time again! I'm always pleased with the end result but the process is so fun! Lauren takes the time to listen to what I want to achieve and makes the best choices when it come to colour. I had a fantastic cut and blow dry by Skye, who is lovely, and really took the time to understand my hair and at home styling. Thanks team, it's great to be back!

I had such a fab experience at Gielly Green, and with the lovely Lauren, from start to finish! With everything that is currently going on I was a little nervous about how the “salon experience” was going to have changed, but I was made to feel super relaxed and looked after from the minute I walked in. Although I had my own mask, there was a bowl of masks at the front door incase anyone has forgotten their own, and all the staff were wearing them too! Lauren was amazing, taking such good care of me throughout and always making sure I was ok, she knew exactly what I wanted to achieve with my hair colour from the brilliant consultation we had had before. She double checked everything with me before we started and was so quick (but not rushed), you could tell she’s been doing it for years! I felt like I was in and out of there in great time x I will most definitely be returning to Gielly Green for my next appointment, and to Lauren :) Couldn’t recommend enough, completely in love with my hair and had so many compliments! Also a little shout out to the brilliant Andrew who gave the most AMAZING head massage after he had washed out my colour! Thank you so much xxx

I’ve been going to Gielly Green for about three years now. I always see Devin Holly. She is so fantastic at doing blondes and a perfect haircut every time. I have been trying to grow my hair out and Devin always does the best haircut, a trim to really help with my length. It has grown so much over the last year. Devin is so good at blonde. I am from Los Angeles and really struggled to find someone to do blonde how I like it but Devin is fantastic! She used to do hair in Beverly Hills and does a fantastic blonde, very natural and not streaky! Devin is so lovely and I would highly recommend.

I went for my first real hair dye to Gielly Green yesterday. Will I come back? Absolutely! The whole team was lovely and great. Very attentive and they make you feel completely relaxed. Karolina was the colourist who dyed my hair and she is amazing. She knows exactly what your hair needs, she created the perfect colour for my hair and she treats people with warmth and kindness. I'm happy I came across this salon and Karolina. See you next time!

Devin is by far the most talented hair colourist I’ve ever come across! She will give you exactly what you ask for and the result will be better than you expected every time. She is professional and attentive throughout. There was a miss communication with prices but she handled it with elegance and class. I cannot recommend her enough. Sadly my blow dry was not a big blow out but a flat pancake with no shape what so ever. All the other ladies blow dry looked amazing so not sure if that’s because my hair had too much conditioner put on or the new colour was weighing it down. Overall this salon is fantastic! All the staff are well presented, competent, and the whole experience from start to finish is a slick operation. Worth every penny, looking forward to my next visit!

I cannot recommend Karolina for colour and Simone for cuts highly enough! They're both dedicated artists who exemplify the top of their craft. I followed Karolina to the salon and she was rocking her talent as always. Karolina does incredible natural colour with fine baby highlights that grows in beautifully. She introduced me to Simone for my cut and he lived up to her skill in colours, but in his cut. He took time to talk to me about my hair routine and give me a fresh look that fit me. Best of all he cut and styled it naturally, ensuring the cut was clean and it was a styling I could do easily. Then he finished me off with a beautiful styling to head into my weekend ❤️ Two talented favourites in a friendly and lovely salon.

Wanted to love this so much, but it was shockingly bad. I imagine it might be better if you're a regular? I'm honestly quite confused about all the good reviews. The hair wash was good, the girl was very sweet. After the haircut started about 40 minutes into the appointment (nobody even offered a drink for the long wait) and the hairdresser rushed through the whole thing. I was told me he would just do "some layers" and I could come back for more (I've never had a simple haircut need to be split into 2 appointments before). I would have much preferred to just be told there wasn't enough time and rescheduled. I then got quite a bit of attitude when I expressed that the cut was kind of not what I'd asked for - from being corrected on terminology, "step" instead of "I don't like it when the layering is obvious and you can see 2 different lengths", to having the shortest layer pulled (ouch) to "prove" they were the same length, to being told multiple times that actually, my hair had been cut the right way and I had to put my hair a certain way to judge how it looked. (very absurd, I've never had someone try to tell me I'm "wrong" about not liking how my hair looked). I could feel the hair being tugged/snagged/pulled when it was being cut, which probably should have been a warning. Moving on - After explaining that a) I'm not a hairdresser so I wouldn't know technical terminology, b) nobody is ever going to be holding my hair like that before judging how it looks, they were suddenly more attentive and took the kind of care I would have expected at the start - shame this was after my hair had been cut off after 1.5 years of growing it out. I ended up just giving up and smiling through the rest. It looked alright when blow-dried, at least.

Lewis is the best hairdresser ever! I’m always extremely happy with my hair cut and my experience at the salon with him and Jolie is always a pleasure. Lewis is a true professional and it’s like returning to see a friend each time I come. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. It’s also a really lovely salon in a great location. Highly recommend. 👍🏻
