Great food. Tapas are delicious and really good value. Dessert came with raspberry sauce rather than white chocolate but, if that's the only issue, nothing to complain about!

I visited here on a Christmas work night out. My expectations weren't high but I was very impressed with the food. Turkey was very tasty and everything was cooked perfectly. I'll be visiting again.

Been to the Pub side of this place a few times now with my missus. We both love the look and feel of the place and the atmosphere generated by a bar which for us, has always been busy enough to give it a nice 'hum' but not so busy that you can't get to the bar. Good range of beers and gins and whilst these are expensive (think Leeds' prices in Cleckheaton) and whilst you can get considerably cheaper gin and beer around the corner at Spoons, for us; given that we hardly drink these days, the elevated costs are a fair trade off for a place that offers a civilised place to have a few drinks and pizza from their in-house pizza oven without being bothered by the local riff-raff (who are kept away by the cost of the booze which is the intention I suspect).

One of the nicer bars in Cleck, always busy at weekends, decent selection of drinks and cocktails and nice food if you eat in the bistro, pizza is available in the bar, it always smells amazing! Ultimately, if you're looking for a good place to have a few drinks with mates or a meal with family, the George delivers.

We were booked in at the same time the Cleckheaton Xmas Festival was on which was unfortunate. We nearly walked out after being shown to our seat and then waiting nearly 30 minutes to be even served a drink! The options of which were limited for a real ale lover. After that it great, the service was good and the tapas were some of the best ever had.
