Just popped in to Gee and Hayes to make an appointment. We was taking care of by a lovely lady as we were next in the queue so as the lady was sorting out the appointment as we was next a very rude older women who worked their was very rude and told us she needed the book and took it off the lady who was taking care of me and my mother. Only in their for 5 minutes and the atmosphere was not very friendly. The lady who served us was very helpful.

I very rarely write reviews but feel that this place should come with a warning. Extortionate and unprofessional. I had a colour (dip dye) and was advised that if I wanted it lighter to go back within 7 days and they would lighten it for free (this cost over £90). I phoned them to go back and they couldn't fit me in until the following week which was more than 7 days from the original appointment so along I went. I was made to feel very silly and caught one of the hairdressers rolling those eyes behind my back (a bit silly given the mirror situation). They then proceeded to lighten the ends of my hair. It was then explained to me that they would be charging me a further £65 for the pleasure as it was beyond the 7 days... even though this was this was not my fault and I has tried to book! A terrible experience leaving me £155 out of pocket and with a horrible colour on my hair. I wish I'd have refused to pay but I was made to feel very silly and was frankly embarrassed and just wanted to get out of there. Over priced and disrespectful staff. Needless to say not recommended.
