Gardenia cambridge

Very good feedback about this place. We are good at judging Indian/Pk cuisine, and are quite familiarized with Chinese, Thai, British, and Lithuanian foods. This place is something new and undiscovered. We should go to Greece, Malta, Cyprus for a visit. Judging from this place, the food is really worth trying out. What they consider a the spiciest, is very piquant at most. The food that we ordered was very flavorful and positively tasty. The environment is very stereotypically Greek in in a good way. Felt like we're on holiday. Very few seats. Quick service. You have to go to the second level after ordering food downstairs. They will bring to you and serve.

Gardie's does a pretty great kebab. But I don't recommend it for sitting in. There's only a small space upstairs and it's far from the best atmosphere.

Great food open late, recommended if you are in the area, and great to visit after a night out drinking in the city

Authentic Greek food and music and an authentic abrupt waitress. Just missing the plate smashing! Forget franky manky and eat the best Greek salad you will get this side of Piraeus!

Good food. Good prices. Not fancy but well worth a visit.

Welcome back to R&H's crazy food reviews This time we are trying out Gardenia. Ordered the special burger and the BBQ burger, which were alright but really nothing 'special'. Unfortunately I ended up binning the special burger. The prices were quite affordable but the service left us a little cold, figurative and literally. Also the packaging wasn't recyclable. Overall, not our favourite Cambridge kebab shop. Until next time, Pasta la Vista.

Lovely little place with really good food in decent sized portions. Service is really good and staff is friendly. Good for a quick bite. Has an upstairs seating area as well if you don't want to sit outside.

Love this place, have used it many times for more than a decade. Chips are vegan, vegan and vegetarian options with the kebabs. Which are very tasty. Good atmosphere, with friendly staff. Take away or eat in choice. A very good chip shop for both meat eaters and non meat eaters. Good drink selection.

I miss the old Gardenia... Back in the eighties when I was an undergraduate... The fish and chips we had today was excellent, however. And it was a joy to get to drink Retsina with our Greek Choriatiki salad. Very friendly staff. I was a little put off by the takeaway service but I understand the practicality of having disposable containers and cutlery.

Fabulous meal for two of Greek chicken, two salads, pitta bread and dips. Fresh, vibrant and very tasty. Staff very friendly and helpful with lots of suggestions and options for all dietary requirements
