Such a wide variety of books! And the antiquarian department was amazing! It's such a wonderful trip through time! Some books were from the 1600s! Worth a trip!

A brilliant bookstore with a great range of affordable books of all subjects. The antiquarian room is worth a visit too- some books here date even to the early eighteenth century! Excellent service too. Would thoroughly recommend you visit.

Full of gems. A bookshop that deserves a visit from every book lover and collector who either lives in or is passing through Cambridge.

Some lovely old books here - again!

I know all the bookshops in Cambridge and this is easily my favourite. It has a rare combination of great new and mint condition 2nd hand stock, plus a gorgeous antiquarian room at the back. They also have a fair smattering of fabulous American published editions which makes all the difference to me (US books are far better produced than UK books!) All prices are set to reasonable levels and the service is outstanding at all times. The overall atmosphere is a nostalgic delight. A real throwback to the days when bookselling was one of those life-enhancing things the English did better than anyone else.

Absolutely wonderful shop and shopkeeper. A true gem. Wonderful collection of first editions and reminder of how bookshops are supposed to be.

Superb second-hand, antiquarian and remainder bookshop, an old fashioned warren of rooms, but well organised, good stock, reasonably priced, very helpful staff: a browser's paradise!

A few of the shops I used to visit regularly In Cambridge are gone, but my regret and collector’s grief have been assuaged for many years by G David. Prices are reasonable and often bargains sort of leap off the shelves at me. Visiting and browsing for a few hours recreates for me the glory and wonder of my American undergraduate years of exciting discoveries. A bookshop worthy of devotion!
