They have an impressive display of furniture. We had excellent service from Chris, but not hassled by anyone whilst we were looking around. We have, as a consequence, placed an order and expect to take receipt early in August. Assuming the remainder of our experience continues to a similar level, then we will have nothing but praise for the Cambridge branch of ‘Furniture Village’. Jeanette Harwood

if i could give zero stars, i would. Bought a range of dining furniture.. arrived in january with a damaged leg and all the missing attachments to join the table top to the base. Still waiting for them to be sorted in April. The table then cracked in half so a new one was ordered. despite telling them 9 times i had moved house, getting verbal and written confirmation of the revised delivery address, I sat in all day to find they had taken it to my old address. the communication, service and after sales is atrocious. The table is not worth the money either. i am now attempting to get a refund and buy it all from someone else. Total ball ache!!!

Very attentive staff and were able to help with any questions. We were offered a cup of tea and a cookie whilst we looked, this made us very comfortable. Would recommend to others, not yet received our sofa so cannot comment on whether or not the delivery service is good or not.

UPDATE: We received the refund. I know a lot of people have seen this review so I wanted to close the loop. Considering how hard we had to work to get our money back I still won't be shopping here again. With so many options for places to shop (especially online), why would anyone go to a store that doesn't prioritize customer service? If only I could give zero stars... The in-store experience was great. Everyone is helpful and friendly. But unfortunately I will never shop here again because of how they’ve handled our return. We bought furniture in May... it’s November and we still don’t have our refund. Worst of all, the warehouse is claiming they can’t find the items even though we have paperwork clearly stating they took the furniture back to their warehouse. At this point, I consider what they’ve done as stealing because we don’t have our furniture and they won’t give us our money. The management has tried really hard to resolve this issue but unfortunately they still haven’t made things right with us. I hope the management team reads these reviews and reaches out to me. Working with furniture village has been an extremely long and painful experience and I really look forward to fixing this issue and then never shopping there again.

We went into the shop to buy a headboard and ended up buying a headboard and a sofa! Darryl was our salesman. He was friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Darryl allowed us time to browse and was not pushy in any way. We would definitely recommend Furniture Village Cambridge.

We ordered a sofa back in October after being told it was in stock with delivery within 6-8weeks as we wanted it before Christmas , after many phone calls to chase the order after 8weeks we was told that the sales man had left which is why we didn't have an update?! We was then told it would be delivered to store 10thdec , then rang again and spoke to (I think Ashley) who was very rude on the phone who said no it's being delivered 13th Dec , have been into store today to be greeted by yet another salesman who was very rude and abrupt who now said it won't be delivered to store till the 22nd Dec and won't be delivered to us till after christmas! When speaking to my partner he very rudely interrupted saying "if you don't want it now cancel it!" We have now cancelled our order and would encourage people to stay away from this god awful company. Every single member of staff at the store have no customer service skills what so ever and I really hope that if any senior members of the company read this they will deal with it as it should be delt with !

Defective bed and awful customer service. Ottoman bed arrives clearly defective on the headboard visible side and the customer service team is being totally incompetent,they have not yet provided a satisfactory solution. First, that bed clearly did not go through quality management, otherwise it would have not left the factory in that embarrassing state. Second, the service team tells me that I have to put with a broken bed until February, this is not what I signed up for when I bought an 800 pounds bed. Having called the service team and having to chase them to no satisfactory solution, I went back to the store to speak to someone, and they said that after sale and delivery they do not deal with defects and that I have to deal with the online service team, how convenient for them... this is not the experience I expect when I go to buy furniture in store. I called twice more to speak to the general manager in Cambridge to no avail, I left a message with a rep and he/she has not even contacted me. A friend also tells me the ££££ sofa they bought arrived defective and they could not bother to call furniture village, no surprise.
