Really enjoyed our stay here. Very clean, sufficient spaciousness, and most importantly, the beds were snug and comfortable. Toilets were spacious as well. Location is good for walks along the river and there is a direct bus to the shopping district of Orchard Road, which was only a few stops away. The gym is well equipped and spacious as well, although the pool is not very large

After staying here for a second time, coupled with multiple of “situations” - I now have an informed and objective review of this place. In our first stay, which was merely a month ago, we were charmed by its location, nestled along the Robertson Quay, the night scene boast a place that does not even look like Singapore. Service was mediocre, but did not pose any issues during that first stay. Our second stay, however, painted a brand new idea of how the service is like - and even the beautiful night scene was not enough to pacify it. Thinking of grabbing snacks at about 4pm, we were appalled by the misinformation given by the service crew at the restaurant, and to make things worst, cancel our order without us even knowing it. We sat there for a good 20 minutes, unbeknown to us that the order was never going to come. To make matters worst, we went and ask if our food is still coming, we were given a curt reply of “I thought you don’t want already?” Dinner service got from worse to worst. The lack of basic service skills from the part timers were understandable - but should still not be an excuse for a hotel with a reputation. The cherry on the top for this disastrous evening would be our in room dining experience - apple pie served in a plastic bag. We understand during this pandemic, extra care is paramount when it comes to food handling - but again not an excuse for sloppy presentation of food. The only saving grace came from the manager on duty who handled the situation with care after getting our feedback. This review is not meant as a complain, rather a learning point for the hotel to take note of moving forward.

Check-in was fast however other areas should improve: (1) when checked in at 3pm, all gym slots for the entire stay were fully booked and the next available slot is the next day 1pm (while check out time is usually 12noon). (2) missing bedroom slippers in the room, called housekeeping for it and waited 2 hours but it never came. So had to call a second time. (3) breakfast is extremely disappointing for a four star hotel standard. Not even looking for a spread, but quality of each ingredient is just poor.

Had 2 days staycation over weekend for birthday celebration during end December. The room is spacious and clean, and they fulfill my request for high floor room and with bath tub. Staff are helpful and friendly. One point is that car park is quite limited and it cost $8 per day (multiple entry, had to request ticket from front desk) A relative old building, but I would said I am quite satisfied with it.

It was a horrible experience here all check in guests waiting in the lobby at first, and the check in process for one room could take the staff more than 10mins which is super eye opening. As a make up measure, the management moved all guests to the buffet venue and all tables were not in line with social distancing because they wanted to seat as much guests as possible(otherwise their lobby will be fully occupied)

The Japanese buffet is not that good because they has change alot of items and the quality is not so good, like the dip fry items because of the flour the quality is not Japanese flour, the PRICE is a bit expensive for paying the low grade quality.

We had booked another hotel but due to Covid, the government has decided to book that hotel and we had to change to another hotel instead. And we are so glad we changed it! Four Points has been wonderful. Upon hearing that we were celebrating my husband's birthday, Four Points actually upgraded our room, placed us on high floor, and even gave my husband a surprise gift! The ambience was great as it was next to Singapore River, and we had a great time during our afternoon tea sitting outdoor, enjoying the view. The next morning, we jogged around the river and it was so relaxing! The room was great, good air conditioning, soft and comfortable bed, with the usual amenities, food was good, service was excellent. We will definitely want to stay again. Thank you Four Points for a wonderful time!
