Nice value per price food with great vegetarian options

Been going here on and off for over 20 years it's never been great but OK. Even though I've now found the best Chinese curry in Hove I went here this time as its close and it was getting late. Only me so I asked for their curry and rice which come together, I upgraded for beef which was only 20p more. I made it quite clear NO MUSHROOMS, over and over I also asked for think sauce. I got a bowl with two thirds rice and one third curry, full off mushrooms, the beef was boiled and flavourless, the sauce wasn't thick with no flavour either. Sad after all these years but nah, I'll give it a miss. PS that good one, first on the left heading West up portland Road!! Its their curry's I think are good, not sure if I have had anything else.

Family owned and run. Friendly, punctual and the food is great! We eat here once a month as a treat for the kids.

Amazing food, order arrived on time, everything we ordered was well cooked, not greasy like most Chinese takeaways, I have tried most takeaways in Brighton and hove, but this place has to be number 1, definitely will always be ordering from here from now on.
