A really cute shop, easy to get to and they always have a huge range of pops and comics to look through. They are pretty well priced and always have a nice little sale section too! The staff are always really friendly and super helpful if you need it. Would definitely recommend going here if you are looking for something nerdy!

This shop is just awesome. Besides the great comic selection they have one of the best Funko POP offers I have ever seen. They also have special editions and chase figures which are hard to get sometimes. Also the prices for those items is really reasonable. I found a figure that I was searching for for a long time. Really would recommend this shop to any collector who is in town.

I love forbidden planet. We visited this one in May and enjoyed browsing and seeing what it had to offer. The manga collection is extensive and there is an abundance of comic books. They fall short of the number of board games, but I did manage to pick up a copy of Exploding Kittens. We also purchased a Mario Kart blue shell cushion. It was fairly pricey but extremely soft and comfortable. A nice gift. Staff were friendly and the shop itself wasn't too busy, so it provides a nice browsing experience. Cool shop.

Have been a customer of Forbidden Planet for 30+ years. Great comic selection. Only looses a star as they don't seem to sell novels anymore, but have the largest selection of Pop figures I've seen. Not my thing, but my kids loved it.

Always well maintained and staff are helpful. My only gripe is they focus too much on certain things that take up a lot of space, which reduces the variety. But I guess they go with what sells the most.

My family and I popped into your Edinburgh branch on our holiday back in august. We found the staff and manager helpful and very friendly. Would recommend stopping in and having a look round and we would defo come back if/when we're back up that way in the future.

Visited today with my 11 year old son. Was very busy and had to queue outside. Only waited 10 minutes to get in, staff were very friendly and made sure maximum of 15 were allowed in a time. On entering were advised to sanitise hands and social distance. Can’t fault this place as there was no sense of rush to leave.. took our time (his) and when leaving staff were interested in the purchase we made and told us to have a nice day., 👍. Will definitely be back.
