Fletcher Moss is a lovely place to take young children or just go to relax. The Botanical Gardens are beautiful with many unusual trees and plants. The children get a real sense of exploration climbing up and down the stony steps on multiple levels. The rose gardens are beautiful to sit and relax in with a picnic, or you can take a picnic rug to the more open spaces. These lead on to the woodlands so you can enjoy a woodland walk too. There is a small cafe where you can get ice cream. There are also special events on offer such as The Bat Walks which I would love to do one day. A lovely place for a quiet day out in beautiful surroundings.

Absolutely stunning park with a large variety of flowers and plants. On a nice day you can spend hours here walking around. The park is maintained very well and is clean and pleasant. Close the the river and is ideal for a visit on a nice day for a casual stroll, day out or just to walk the dog

Had a really nice walk. Got ourselves an ice cream and enjoyed a stroll around the gardens. There are different distances of walk to go on and it's pretty flat so easy going. Good place for picnics too.

Beautiful park with an abundance of flowers and wildlife. Lot's of paths to walk through the woods and along the river Mersey. Many varieties of trees with information boards dotted alongside the footpaths. There is also 3 pub's more or less next to each other with a large selection of beers, wine's and spirits to chose from and they all serve food.

I have to say this is spot I have gone back to a number of times because I remember it fondly from my childhood and visiting my grandparents. However, I have been fortunate to be there for a "guitar" festival some years ago and more recently just because it is such a lovely teared garden to meander through. The tea rooms are quaint and offer a lovely spot for a pot of tea and a toasted tea-cake.

I have been driving past this place for a number of years and never knew it existed. It was a friend of mine asked if I would like to go and have a look. Had a walk around and stopped for a bite to eat at the mobile cafe set up as the cafe is closed at the moment. Saying that the food was good. I plan on going again in the spring when everything is in bloom. Well worth a visit.

What a beautiful park, the Rockery is outstanding but not good if you are disabled in a scooter, pretty steep. Lovely areas where dogs are not allowed. There is also a dog walking area though, something for everyone, plenty of seating too.

Loved the walk there although it may be confusing to get around. Would need more than an hour to see the whole place. Would recommend some wearing some wellies if it has just rained. Most of the areas have a proper road to walk on so that's a good thing. Good tennis grounds here.

The park is split into three areas. A small formal garden and alpine house across the road from the church. The main banked rockery with benches, steps and paths through plants leading up from the pond, (the tea room is located next to here), and the large extensive paths through trees and meadows to the mersey. There are lots of birds to listen to, and it is quite peaceful when there aren't too many people. The plants are beautiful and it is well kept by the volunteers.
