As you can tell from numerous complaints..You only deal with Fineholm at your own risk as they don't care about clients and the poor service you get. Just spoke to their manager about their poor rating & about my experience with them and she is totally fine with that. Just like several rogue & dishonest agents in Glasgow they ask u to keep huge deposits and keep u waiting for days if not weeks & can come back to you at any time to tell u the property is not available. It took them 2 days to show the property to my spouse and after calling to tell her it's available to rent, they claim it will take more than a week to check the inventory in a 1 bedroom flat and days later they claim the landlord says he's not renting anymore. Very rude with huge egos and it's evident in our interactions, their tenants and customers come last and the manager told me she doesn't care about the poor service and their ratings. Deal with them at your own risk!

Over the past 5 years, I have been using the services of three letting agencies. When I moved in a flat managed by Fineholm about 3 years ago, I didn`t expected such a bad experience. The problem started from the first date of the tenancy - I was informed that they were not ready with the full inventory of the flat and I would need to wait a few more days. When I finally moved in, the apartment was far from deep cleaned - there was dirt on the carpet, window were not cleaned in the last 4-5 months for sure, etc. Also some of the electrical appliances were not working, but I was reassured that they would be fixed soon - over the next 2 years and 8 months in which I lived in the property, these problems were never fixed through. They are also quite slow when it comes to maintenance - e.g. I have waited 10 days to send an electrician to fix our cooker, 4 days to fix a broken window after a burglar broke into the flat, the electrical heater in the bedroom was never fixed even though I have sent 6 emails to my maintenance manager and called them a few times and this is just the top of the iceberg. On the other hand, the rent of the flat was constantly increasing - starting from £485 by the end of the lease it was £550. On top of that, when I moved out I was charged £105 for deep cleaning + addition £30 for arranging it, even though the flat was cleaner compared to when I moved in. So engage with them at your own risk!

Just spent 20 minutes walking in heavy rain for a scheduled viewing that Fineholm Letting Services Glasgow didn't bother to show up at. No phone calls to say where they were, nothing. We would have still been waiting outside if I hadn't phoned them. End result, didn't get to view the house. Poor way to treat tenants, not good for landlords either. Not impressed.

I have rented 2 properties let by Fineholm in Glasgow and even though the properties were lovely the agency is at least horrendous. First of all, I have been waiting for 5 weeks (yes correct 5 weeks) to get a mailbox key for my flat. I have no idea how the landlord didn’t have a key and how the agency has taken so long to sort such a simple issue. It was honestly so unprofessional from their side to deal with it as they did and to over complicate things while we are literally speaking for a mailbox key. In addition, I asked 3-4 times what council tax band my latest flat was falling under and they kept saying that the band was B. Surprisingly I received a council tax bill relating to council tax band D and guess what - they had no clue that the council tax was band D rather than B. When I mentioned that wrong information published online and clarified to me, I enquired for a reduction in the rent which obviously never happened. To top this up, just before moving to the flat I was informed that some light bulbs are not working and will not be replaced (???) and upon leaving the flat I was enquired by Fineholm to replace ALL light bulbs, are you kidding me? If it wasn’t for these lovely properties that they were renting I would for sure try to avoid renting from them. I guess the landlords don’t have too many agency options in Glasgow but the service is literally horrendous and the people very very unprofessional.

“Pathetic Customer Experience...” I engaged FineHolm to get an apartment as tenant in Glasgow when I moved in Glasgow last year. Recently, I vacated the apartment but the FineHolm representatives as per their reputation, are making illegal deductions from my security deposit and trying not to release the full security amount. I have heard similar experiences from my other colleagues also who engaged them for a rental apartment. They try not to refund the security deposits which a customer deposits with good faith. I advise not to engage them for any honest transaction.

It was a fair while ago but I am looking at flats at the moment and noticed this agency and even though the property looks nice I am instantly avoiding them. Having read the reviews so wanted to get mine in as they have not changed clearly. A while back I was renting with them, it was NYE, I noticed water running down the walls from upstairs. They were closed due to the holidays, with no emergency number so I couldn't contact them. It kept getting worse and worse, basically upstairs was flooding and no one was in. I didn't know what to do so called around for advice and was told to call the police, hire an emegency plumber and locksmith to break in and turn off the water and then contact the agency to sort the issue of payment when they reopened. This cost me about £500. It was 3 days before the upstairs neighbour returned. I was told by the letting agency and the landlord that it wasn't their problem, essentially and I shouldn't have done it. I asked what I was supposed to do and the advice was I should have just let the flat get destroyed and the landlord would have claimed it on insurance, so I should have just lived in a flooded flat over the holidays (which would have ran down to the flat below eventually) Months of back and forth got my nowhere. Never did get any comp for the locksmith or plumber, and they still found reasons to take most of my deposit. They were dismissive and rude the whole time, we eventually just gave up. Even though this was a while ago it seems worth mentioning for anyone considering renting with them or any landlords considering using them (or at least any landlords with a sense of decency) as it seems they have not changed at all. Disappointing, the flat I was considering viewing looked lovely but based off past experience and these reviews, it put me right off ever being a tenant with them again.

They don't care about you, they just want your money. I rented a flat with them for 2 and a half years and moved out a couple of months ago. As soon as I informed them I would be moving out, my flat was on RightMove within a couple of hours, featuring old photos that must have been taken years ago, and at a higher price than I was paying. I had people coming to view the flat while I was at work without informing me first, using my toilet and going through my wardrobe. It was so intrusive. I'm actually so embarrassed for them reading all these reviews but I couldn't agree more. Their standards are just so poor. The bathroom was covered in mould due to the window not functioning - they told me numerous times that they would install an extractor fan but this never materialised. The carpets throughout the flat were sticky and stained, as documented in photos THEY took before I moved in, but they did nothing about this and charged me for the cleaning once I left. They took over £200 from me for cleaning alone... I took the hit because I was actually expecting to be charged for some accidental damage I had caused within the flat (oops) but clearly they hadn't bothered to notice it, further reflecting on their poor standards. Avoid if you can.

Tried to rent s flat with them, after viewing online tour. First recieved two email, on saying that I've put on the viewing list, and other 30 mins later from another person that they're already fully booked. When called got informed that there's no online tour for this one, as they already took it outof the website and tried to convince me that there was no such thing. Really bad service.
