Nice location if you can get a room with a view, otherwise it’s just another hotel. Fancy foyer/reception but you don’t sleep there. Restaurant was fully booked but seemed less than half full so not sure what the booking system is. Alternative meal locations were limited. May be better offerings closer to town.

We went during the school holiday, so it was busy. Facilities are great and we really enjoyed it. It was nice to be greeted by the staff. Breakfast buffet is great too, so many choices. The view out of the window is lovely. My only negative feedback is the room can be renovated, quite out dated. Would love to come back though and enjoy the bush walk behind the hotel as we didnt get to do it.

My husband, two kids and myself stayed here for 3 nights this week and absolutely loved it. Was definitely a well deserved get away for us and the staff at Fairmont made it that much more special. The food was delicious and the room was great to stay in. We will definitely return again soon. Thank you

Long overdue review from Texas. During a trip in 2017, we stayed at the Fairmont Blue Mountains. The room was comfortable and the resort was beautiful and conveniently located for our explorations. The excellent service went beyond our stay when I realized I had left all of my cosmetics at the hotel. It would have been difficult and expensive to replace the items, especially while traveling. To my surprise, Josie S. not only located my cosmetics bag, but OVERNIGHTED it to our hotel in Sydney. It arrived - not a single item out of place - before we did! Josie S.'s customer service alone deserves more than 5 stars!

Great resort. Staff couldn’t be more friendly or helpful. Went for the wife’s birthday with the kids - lots to do for both. Bottle of wine and a cheese board were waiting in the room along with a birthday card for the wife. Food is fantastic at the restaurants - we went to Embers on the first night and the buffet on the second. The pools are also big and there is an indoor and outdoor one depending on weather. For the kids there are two soft play centres and an arcade as well as a cinema (we didn’t use the latter though). Room was big and very comfy, but the shower was a bit dated. Only down side is that parking is limited and if you don’t find a spot in the nearest car park it’s a bit of a faff getting bags to the lobby (unless you drive up first and leave them). Will definitely be returning next time we visit the Blue Mountains!
