Fairlawns Hotel and Spa

We spent one night here as a surprise birthday gift. On arrival to the hotel the grounds are inviting and well kept. The Reception and Waiting staff have a high level of customer service, polite and attentive. We stayed in the Executive Suite. On entering my attention panned to the bathtub which created a nice feature, well set out, clean and tidy. Another part of my surprise was a back massage with a lovely Therapist called Liz, the treatment was a much needed treat and I felt relaxed afterwards. Our evening meal at the restaurant had a nice ambience, tables placed well in keeping with social distancing. The meal was presented well, small to medium portions, tasty. My husband was happy with his steak dinner. On the morning of our departure we had breakfast at the restaurant which was enjoyable and delicious. On the whole very enjoyable experience and wish to come back again soon. Thanks to the Fairlawns staff

The entrance to the part of the hotel we were visiting was equipped with hand sanitizer as soon as we entered. On entering the function room we were greeted by friendly, professional staff,(wearing face coverings) who showed us to our table. This was set with adequate distance between each guest. As this was a special occasion, a glass of prosecco was given to each of us. No sooner had we had this the staff came round asking for our orders from the set menu which was quite good. Food was very good but served too quickly between courses. As the last plate of starter was removed then the main course was being brought out. All present felt that we were being rushed even though they did say we could have the room until 11pm.

Great for Sunday lunch and felt really covid19 safe

Loved it. Had Sunday lunch & food was excellant. Beers were good & service was great. Prices were very reasonable so 5 stars from me👍

Great place to unwind and relax Friendly staff and organised social distancing in place My only issue was that i paid extra for a larger room but was given (What i can see) a standard size room - Nevertheless, a great stay

Had a great time. Was a Christmas present .we did a spa day it was amazing, and the food at lunchtime was fab and so was the afternoon cakes. Then we was booked for overnight stay. All the staff was very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The meal on the evening was delicious and so was the Breakfast.The room was amazing everything you need and so modern .would recommend 100 %.Will be back.Thank you.

Finally enjoyed a festive afternoon tea after having our booking cancelled 3 times over the last 18 months due to the pandemic. Well worth the wait. Excellent service from receptionist, our waitress and host. Tastely decorated for Christmas. Food was fresh and of a very high standard. Particularly enjoyed the warm Christmas sausage rolls and the white chocolate lollipops...what a shame you couldn't buy extra to go! Good selection of drinks and cocktails. Worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Would like to say a massive thank you to all. Family meal yesterday was amazing. Could not fault. From initial greeting to food and service was beyond. You made our Family get together perfect. Can't recommend high enough. Xx

Loved the wreath making. Expensive but get what you pay for. Lots of help with our wreaths and lots of fun making them. Food was lovely. Staff very helpful. Highly recommend 👍

As always, we always have a great stay. The hotel is modern and picturesque. The staff are admirable in their customer service. One waitress made a massive impression on us. She looked very young, I think her name was Gemma, she was bubbly, very quick witted and extremely knowledgeable about all menu's. Her manner was friendly but professional at all times. We loved it and will be back.
