I brought a bracelet from this store on Saturday and wore it for less than an hour on Saturday evening when the bracelet caught a ladies jumper causing a hole. I took the bracelet off and replaced it in the box.I looked at it the following day to see the bracelet was damaged in several places which would cause it to catch. This bracelet was not cheap [one hundred and fifty nine pounds] I took it back to the shop where I was refused a refund or an exchange!!! I was told they would send it back to head office for them to check it and they would refund it if they confirm it is damaged. Clearly the manager is in breach of the consumer rights act and doesn’t understand that what she is doing is illegal. I am in titled to a full refund but she acted like a spoilt kid stormed into her office and threatened me with the police if I didn’t leave her store. The manageress has no customer relation skills or understanding of the law and acting like a child and stamping her feet and losing control of her temper is unexceptable. This company advertise the fact that they have been trading since 1856 [163 years] and they have a fantastic customer relations!! Reading the feed back on this store that is quite blatantly a lie as 75% of the feed back is extremely negative to the fact that they will no longer purchase any goods from this store!! I personally will not purchase any thing else from this company and if I dont get a full refund from the company I will certainly take it to trading standards and the ombudsman. If I could give this company -stars I would.
