Initially thought we had a great experience here but oh dear we were so wrong, car is fine all in all but the sales staff have been a joke. Never settled finance and we got letters saying missed payments, then when called about that we found out car had no new MOT when we were told it had a full year by the salesman. Need to buck up your ideas Evans Halshaw!!

Avoid this place if possible. I would give them zero starts if I could! Me and my husband wanted to buy a car through Finance and they did the bare minimum to help us out or to inform us if we were getting approved or not. They did not even show us the car we were going to buy as "it was not in store"! They were not clear about their products at all. The Finance Company would not offer us their services (for reasons unknown) and Evans Halshaw would not even call us back to let us know! We had to chase them around looking for an answer for around a week... We even paid a deposit for the car which they happily accepted but do not give back now. It has been two weeks and we received a letter dated on the same date we paid the deposit saying the Finance Company wouldn't accept our application- Evans Halshaw got our money nonetheless! I am still trying to get my money back. Despite a few emails, few calls (you need to wait for 30-40 mins before they pick up the phone) and emails to their Customer Service Team, they won't release the deposit back to my account... Their customer service is beyond pathetic. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Before driving away from a maintenance shirt, damage was noticed to the back of our car which had not been there prior to drop off at Evans Halshaw, Renault Edinburgh. We immediately contracted the customer contact service to report this issue. They informed us that we would be called back but we did not receive a return call. In the next 2 months, we reached out to branch manager Paul Kavanagh per email numerous times. We never received a response, despite sending 4 reminder emails. Since we emailed with Paul before, we know our email is not blocked. When I called the reception, I was told that I would be called back, which never happened. I would not recommend this dealership based on my experiences.

Really great service from Mohammed, timely, no stress and a really fine fella to deal with. Got the car we wanted at a really competitive price. Would definitely do business with them again.

Booked a test drive of Range Rover Evoque but wouldn't let me test drive until we agreed a trade in price on my present car. I wasnt even sure I wanted to trade my car in. Felt I had to plead for what was already pre-arranged. Avoid !!!

I booked a service plus engine flushing about a month before and I wrote them expressly to check the right front suspension because it sounds very bad. When I left the car they told me that they would only change my oil and oil filter (because this is minor service because it was the only option on their website) and I told them to change all the filters. When lifting the car I found that my car is in perfect parameters(green stats), although the suspension sounds like it would dismantle on the road and there is no question of engine cleaning. This is the level of services offered by this garage, in addition I had to reset the air filter because it did not close the case well because they are not able to do that either. I would have given much less to but Google won't let me.

First class service from sales executive James Roberston. Very professional, cheerful and efficient. I bought the car without seeing it based on his description and he arranged free delivery for the following day even though we live over 400 miles away! The transaction was straightforward and the delivery company used was excellent, with superb communication from the driver during her journey and prompt arrival at our home. Very impressed!
