We started by waiting 2 hours in the middle of the night before being called to the front desk. Each customer was busy about 20 minutes at the desk to get their car...
We were charged 60£ (2/3 of the total price) for arriving few minutes after midnight because our flight was delayed.
Nothing was ready although we had a reservation. The very unpleasant Europcar Person had to fill in by hand a hole sheet with the information I already filled in on the internet. Then he almost forced us to take extras, like navigation system, automatic car, extra insurance... We had to insist we don’t want it and he didn’t stop making arrogant remarks.
I was stressed the whole week end because of that person, when there actually was no reason to be. The roads were very fine to drive even the single track roads.
By chance returning the car went fast and well, nothing was to declare and an Europcar employee was rapidly available to check the car.
The global experience was quite unpleasant and you can be sure I’ll avoid Europcar as much as possible in the future.
